Chapter Two

  His lopsided grin is all I can focus on. The arcade lights around us are becoming more and more colorful the more time I spend with him, but I can't help myself. He's beautiful and amazing, an absolute gentleman with an attitude towards life like a kid in a candy store. He's very smart too, he talks to me about his plan to win every game in the arcade.
"You know you can take a picture, it'll probably last longer," he says with a giggle. How cute, oh my god. "Also I'm going to win you a teddy from this machine, no matter what."
I smile wide and hold my purse close to my chest, "You don't have to, it's really okay, Jisung."
He pouts, his cheeks puffed out like a chipmunks, "But I wanna! And I'm gonna!"
   How in the world is he so adorable. He's been making me laugh like it's his job.
"Jisung? Y/N? I didn't know you two knew each other?" I heard a deep voice call out, Felix? What's he doing here? I thought he was on vacation in Australia?
  "Oh uh, Lixie! Lixie, we just met this morning! Isn't that fun!" I yelled to my best friend, hoping he could hear me over the commotion of the arcade.
    Jisung stands from his crouch, a huge grin plastered on his face, "Yeah Lixie, we just met this morning at my fathers ice cream shop. It was like fate brought her there." I feel him protectively wrap an arm around me.
I wiggle myself from his grasp and half run half waddle to Felix, I haven't seen my best friend in months and I missed him so so so much. I pinch his cheeks, "Aww, wittle baby Lixie, how was Australia? Meet anyone you think you should introduce to me?" I wink at him, so he knows what I mean.
He blushes at my actions, "I mean, I didn't find my soulmate or anything but I did run into Chris again and he came back with me, he misses you Y/N, we were like the Three Musketeers or something."
"Aww wittle Lixie, where is the third member of our trio?" I ask pinching his cheeks again.
I hear Jisung clear his throat and I turn to him, "Am I interrupting something I should be concerned about?"
"Not at all, Squirrel, just some best friend antics," Felix answers, "I haven't seen Y/N in like three or four months and we OBVIOUSLY have a lot to catch up on if she's finally found her soulmate."
Jisung smiles wide again, "Well we also need to catch up, you fortnite playing, serial snack stealing bastard, I've missed you Felix!" I watch his grin widen, "And besides I found my soulmate too." I smile as I feel him reaching for my hand.
Felix's eyes just about pop out of his skull, "Well damn, Moonie, when you told me you found your soulmate earlier I didn't realize it was Jisung."
"Well damn Lixie, I didn't even tell you a name," I laugh back rolling my eyes, "Who did you think my soulmate was? Some random guy my mom pushed me into at the farmers market?"
   Jisung looks at me in shock, "Your mother would push you into people at the farmers market to see if they were your soulmate? That's not cool, she shouldn't have tried to meddle like that."
   I smile at him softly, "Thank you for your attempt at defending my honor, but, she did it only really because she wanted to see me happy with someone. She wanted me to meet the right person and then see the world all in technicolor like she can. That's all she wanted, she just wanted to see me happy over colors I've never seen before."
  Felix and Jisung nod their heads, I really home they actually understand my mother didn't have ill intentions.
  "So, Moonie, wanna go outside and hang with Chris Bang again?" yells an overly excited Lixie.
   "Of course Moonie does, the question is if Lixie does?" I call out in an over the top accent, before breaking down into a fit of giggles.
   In the corner of my eye I see Jisung staring at me in awe, "Hey Sungie, take a picture it'll last longer." I drop him a wink, watching his cheeks redden. I walk to him and lace my fingers with his, "Let me introduce you to the worlds biggest idiot, Christopher Bang. He's another of Lixie and I's besties." I watch as his posture relaxes and he walks just a couple steps behind me.
When I stop Jisung collides with me, instead of panicking though he just wraps his arms around me like he's done it a million times before. My heart flutters and stammers in my chest. I feel my cheeks and ears turning bright red, like a beacon for everyone to see what Jisung is doing to my poor poor heart.
"You're so cute when you're flustered," Jisung whispers in my ear, I feel him place quick kiss on my cheek and bury his face in my hair, "You're cheeks are so warm, how cute!" He yells, pinching my cheeks as I pout.
"Hey lovebirds, you can do whatever the hell that is some other time, right now it's time to be with our friends," Lixie yells to us, "C'mon we don't wanna keep Chris and Co. waiting!"
I stare at Felix baffled, "Uh, Chris and co.? The fuck does that mean, I thought we were only meeting Chris?"
Lix smiles in an almost sinister way, "Well we may have made a bunch of friends while we were away... but I swear you will love love love them."
"Okay fine, Lix, what are there names and how many?"
Jisung sighs beside me, his arm still around my waist, "I was hoping for some time to just get to know you, babe."
I pinch his cheek, "I know babyboy, but this will make it easy for you to get to know me as the absolute crackhead I am."
"Alright well not including Chris and I, there are six other people," Lix starts blandly, "Among those six are Kim Seungmin, Hwang Hyunjin, Yang Jeongin, Lee Minho, Kim Woojin, and Seo Changbin." I can hear the fondness in his voice at the last name he says.
"Does Lixie have a crush on Changbin~" I tease, poking his cheeks that are now really red.
He shakes his head and giggles out, "Lixie does not even have the littlest bit of a crush Binnie Binnie Changbinnie, I just look up to and respect him a lot."
Jisung and I laugh at his flustered state, it really will be fun, especially if I, Lixie's absolute best friend, gets to tease him all afternoon.
"Yah! Jisung! Control your soulmate today, I don't want her embarrassing us!" an extremely flustered Felix squeaks, trying to seem threatening and failing.
   "Okay let me warn you, these guys are adorable and sweet and absolute idiots. So we know for sure that Y/N is going to fit in, but Jisung, I'm not 100% sure about you. I mean like are you sure you're crackhead enough for us?"
   Jisung smiles wide, "I am 100% sure that I am twice the crackhead you will ever be."
   I giggle at them, "So Lixie, you gonna open the door or what?"
   He scratches his head, "Uhh, I'm not sure Moonie, should I?"
   "Just do it, asshole," I command him, earning myself a forehead flick from him, and a smirk from Jisung.
   "Alright guys, I'm about to welcome you to the crackhead lair, where all the absolute weirdest crackheadery happens," Felix warns again, "Don't embarrass me, please Moonie."
    I smile sweetly, "And why would I ever do that, Lixie?"
