Matty's POV

"I better go empty my bladder before we start getting wasted." I said to Ross as we make our way to the reception hall.

From my short time at the wedding I have encountered a number of flirty glances from different women, I feel like an eagle searching for his prey. Ah that's what I love about weddings, collect and select.

"Don't start anything that will get us all kicked out alright mate." Ross says as we part ways.

"What's a wedding without a little fun Ross!" I answered back mischievously walking towards the restroom.

I was met with one of the groomsmen inside. I was acquainted with him, he was a cousin of Will's and I met him at one of our gigs when Will came to watch, but that's about it.

"You got any splif man? You willing to split." He asked me as he washed his hands.

"I have three and I'm only willing to give one mate." I answered handing him one.

"Thank you man, this will definitely liven up this whole experience, I get bored at weddings." He said and then lit up the joint and started to smoke.

"Yeah, real party starter this one." Then I started to light mine up and smoked it too.

The reception was now in full swing, people were shimmying on the dance floor and the band was actually pretty good, or was I just really fucking high, I really don't know.

Then I saw Dionne with Will near the stage talking or maybe arguing I can't tell but she looks like she's about to cry. When they saw me, Will then came over to me leaving Dionne staring at me, irritation present in her deep blue eyes.

"Hey Matt, how you doing bud?" he asked while holding a glass of punch, trying to shake of his post wedding jitters I guess.

"I'm awesome man. What about you, yeah? Congratulations on your wedding, you guys look good together." I answered trying to calm him down and wondering why I said that.

"Thanks man. I appreciate that. Here finish this off for me, my wife says I shouldn't be drinking." He answers smiling, the nervousness seeming to dissipate a little.

"Dionne alright man?" I asked trying to figure out what she is actually irritated about, besides me. And taking a swig of the punch he gave me.

"She's just going on about how the caterers got the main course wrong and how the chairs didn't exactly match the tables, you know simple girl troubles that shouldn't even get us all worked up. She's pretty shaken I guess." He answered shrugging while looking at his wife.

"Ah, well just let her be man she'll get over it. The important thing is that you're happy. You're married now you bloke! Party now or forever hold your peace." I said animatedly trying to make him laugh.

"I better get back and do my husband duties then, my wife awaits. Now go get wasted Matt, I give you permission." He said laughing as he strolled towards his wife.

"You know I already am Will." I said laughing. I give them five years tops I say to myself.

Then out of the corner of my eye, I see a free bar that was almost empty of wedding guests. The punch I have is weak, so I decided to grace the bar with my presence.

"Amaretto sour my good man, cold as you can make them out to be. Uhm, Make that a double will you." I ordered stumbling as I placed myself at one fine looking bar stool.

"What gives dude?" I hear a protest from beside me. I wasn't really paying attention but I started to get bored and decided to humour whoever was making a fuss.

"What's the problem? Love?" I said when I turned to look. I was surprised to see a pretty little thing beside me all worked up and fuming.

She was wearing a nude coloured short dress that hugged her curves in the right places. She's sexy and not to mention feisty too, a combination that's rare, a personality I loved dealing with, well most of the time.

"You just spilled your punch all over my legs and you're not even going to apologize?" she said furiously.

"Oh, sorry love, my bad. Want me to help you clean that up?" I offered while staring at her seductively, hoping it will distract her and eventually calm her down.

And then she did something that surprised me. She didn't laugh or started flirting or gave an excuse to touch me like most girls did when I used my seductive grin.

Instead she looked straight at me, slowly leaned in closer and spoke against my ear which I found really really sexy.

"Well do me a favour first love and then we'll see." She challenged me, only making me want to talk to her more.

I live for a good challenge so I leaned my lips closer to hers not really kissing her yet but I really wanted to, just close enough as personal proximity would allow.

And then I replied "Wow, fuck me. I like you already." I smiled trying to look straight into her yes.

"What will it be then love?"

"Go be an arse somewhere else prick!" she shouted in my face and then left me there. I was speechless and out of words for what had just happened.

She shocked me beyond anything today or for the past week maybe, most girls would love to be seduced by me, being in a band made it easier too, but not this one. This bird has it coming.
