Scarlet's POV

"What is with all the douche bags in the world and me having to deal with them everytime! I have had enough for one day pal!" I thought as I punched the best man right in the face.

"That felt good, I hope you learned your lesson you ass. Never mess with me." I fumed.

And then I felt all the stare's pointed right at me. The dead silence was eminent and all eyes are on me confirming what I've done.

"Oh shit, this is not good, I cannot have everybody looking at me, oh no my stage fright is kicking in. I'm going into a panic attack. Don't think Scar, breathe. Leave it alone." I thought trying to concentrate on not fainting.

Before I knew it Matty took one look at me, maybe seeing that I was about to faint from all the attention, and then took the mic from the waiter and started talking.

"Well, I think I'll say a couple of words if you don't mind..." he said walking a few feet away from me and attracting all the attention on him now.

"I never really got on with your bird the first time." He said looking at the groom then to everybody else slowly. I stared at him thankful for the diversion. He was helping me regain my composure so I kept focusing on him.

"I met her out, dressed in nowt, telling everybody you were shagging about." He continued which earned a few giggles from the audience maybe because in his drunk state he can make things sound funnier to others more.

"Well, who's this? Going for the kiss." He pointed to one of the bridesmaids who was about to make out with one of the grooms men beside the stage.

"He's probably gonna yosh in your mouth." He poked fun winking at a few of the guests.

And I laughed hard at this one which made me feel better. I was breathing normally again.

"Ok thank you for that fun speech. A friend of the grooms I presume." The host finally intervenes, before Matty gets to say more humiliating things, but still keeping the fun mood Matty had started.

"Ok, who's next? Any volunteers, tough act to follow I know." The host said and everybody laughed.

And then Matty returned the mic, walked up to me quickly and grabbed my hand. We stormed out of the venue, hand in hand.

"Where's your car?" he asked as we reached the parking lot.

"It's a black hybrid. But I don't know where the valet parked it." I said.

"Wait, where are we going anyway Matty? The weddings not over yet." I asked confused.

"After our stint in there you think we should stick around love?" He stated sarcastically but in a fun mood still, he even tried to suppress a chuckle.
