Scarlet's POV
"The nerve of some guys!" I huffed as I took my seat beside Jade.
"What happened, what has gotten your panties in a bunch Scar?" Jade asked.
"Nothing, it's over. Let's just enjoy our friends wedding and then get out of here." I answered trying to forget the whole ordeal and just be happy for Dionne and enjoy the rest of the wedding.
"Oh Scar, these are Adam's friends George and Ross." Jade said as she introduced the two guys seated beside Adam now. This made me happy because they are hot, finally some nice guys.
"Hi, I'm George." The taller one said as he stretched out his hand for me to shake.
"Hi George, nice to meet you, I'm Scarlet." I answered taking his hand and giving it a hand shake which weirdly enough, he eagerly shook as well. He's really cute, plus points to Adam for bringing them.
"Ok, tone down the antics will yah Georgie? She is not going home with you." Ross said and then they all laughed.
"Sorry, he's kind of drunk so he just hits on any girl he meets at this point. Don't mind him." Ross then turned to me and said as if George did this more often than not.
"Oh. Then we should hang sometimes, I'd make a great wing woman." I teased trying to join in the laughter which we all did after that statement of mine.
"I'll take you up on that offer hot stuff." George added while laughing.
"There's the bloke. About damn time too, I'll go get his drunk ass." Ross said to Adam allowing all of us to hear. And then he left our table to go get his friend I assumed.
"You have more friends Adam, sweet! More guys for me." I joked trying to make everyone laugh again.
"Hold your horses Scarlet, just one more friend from the band, don't get too excited." Adam stated lightly.
"No, hon. I think Scar will hit it off with Matty. She has a thing for bad boys." Jade said leaning in closer to her boyfriend. Being all cozy and all as they both looked at me with anticipating eyes.
I knew she was only doing this because I didn't have a boyfriend and she wanted me to finally have one. Jade was being a good friend and I am thankful for that but if God doesn't want me to have a boyfriend yet then I'd accept that.
I'm content on being single anyways and besides I get to flirt with whomever I want to. I'm definitely free, single and ready to mingle which is never a bad thing in my case.
I was picking at my food now trying to savour and enjoy it, a delicious seafood pasta with lobster meat, deciding to shrug off the conversation but to no avail. Jade kept on going.
"Think about it hon, they both like liquor, music and partying. And if they end up together Scar and I can both go to your concerts together, more fun for everyone. A perfect match wouldn't you say?" Jade added getting giddy now.
Then Adam shakes his head and says "This one's pretty hard to tame and to be honest, not really the settling down type. But it is your call anyway Scarlet, you decide." Adam cautioned me.
"Bring it on guys! I'm not one to fail at a challenge anyway." I answered them and then chugging the rest of my cocktail. Not really understanding what I am getting myself into.
Then I hear a voice from behind me.
"Are we going to war or something guys?" A voice I heard before said. I was really hoping he was not who I thought he was.
As I turned to face him, I was mortified to find out that Ross was with the guy that was rude to me at the bar. They are friends with that prick! What the hell! He's Matty, the Matty, and he's smirking too!
And then I slumped down on my chair feeling cheated by destiny.
Out of all the guys at this wedding, I get stuck with the rude one! Great!
