"Thank you for your time, Zach and for considering my proposal. It's good we talked in person. I'm looking forward to our partnership."ani Bryan habang inihahatid sila sa kanilang sasakyan.

"It's our pleasure. I actually have few things to discuss with our parents bago mag finalize ng decision and few other proposals to revisit."sagot ni Zach.

"Of course. Let me know if you need anything else."ani Bryan habang inilalahad ang kamay sa asawa niya.

"We'll get going and we won't keep you long here."

"Thank you for wonderful lunch. I did not know this place exist. It's beautiful here." sagot ni Bryan. But he was looking at her.

"Yes it is. I've known this place for quite some time. Nakakarelax dito. Mauuna na kami Bryan. I'll keep you posted."

"Sure thing, Zach. And it's good to see you again, Yve. I'm looking forward to our business relationship this time." he said looking at her more intensely.

"We have a lot to consider, Bryan. And thank you for your time."she tried casually to answer.

"Why, of course. But this will not be the last time that I'll try. That's for sure."aniya sa makahulugang tono.

Zach then guided her towards her seat. She felt cold. What does he mean? What is he gonna try? To gain her back or to try being in the company? She ignored the first idea. Matagal na silang hindi nagkita and he must have changed. She must not thought of anything emotionally related when talking about Bryan. This is all purely for business.

She saw Zach and Bryan exchanged goodbyes. And then she saw Bryan looking at her again while the car is driving off. He is smiling. That smile that she used to see when he is happy. That smile that made her fall in love. That smile that haunted her for a long time. She closed her eyes.

"Do you want me to take you home, Yve?" tanong ni Zach. Marahil na pansin nito ang pagpikit niya ng mata.

"No. I'm gonna be fine. I was planning to go to daddy's office."

"Alright. Sabay na tayo, dun din naman ako didiretso. So you won't have to drive your way."

"That's a better idea."sagot niya. She felt relieved na mababawasan ang kanyang pagod. Wala na rin naman siyang ganang bumalik ng office. Her car is safe there. Magpapahatid na lang siya bukas kay Zach.

"You know, Yve, there's something with Bryan that feels weird. His presence seems to be bringing some kind of tense around."komento ni Zach.

"Well, maybe because you just first met him. And there's a lot you need to learn about him if you accept his proposal."

She just casually answered while looking outside the window. She does not know what to say. Zach does not need to know her past with Bryan. And besides, napakatagal na noon. It should not be an issue.

"He has a great proposal. We're both looking into his company's benefit and our expansion. What do you think?"

"You know better, Zach. I can't decide anything that I am not expert on. Whatever you think is best, I'll support you."

"That's sweet of you, Mrs. Valeria. You sound like a real supportive wife."

"Tumigil ka nga! I'm just saying that I appreciate you asking for my inputs but the best decisions will be coming from you. And in fine with it. As long as you keep me as your interior designer to anything you want to build."

"Of course, Yve. That's not gonna change. You are best at what you do. At teamwork natin ang kailangan para mapalago ang negosyo ng parents natin."

"Good. That's loud and clear. While the merge is still in process, I'm gonna start working on your restaurant. It would keep me busy until the launch."

"And I'm so excited, Mrs. Valeria. Di na ako makapaghintay na matapos yan. We're gonna be spending our freetime there. And I'm gonna cook for you."

"Plano mo ba talaga akong patabain, Zach?" nakasimangot niyang tanong.

"Don't worry, Yve. I'm watching over our diet. And speaking of, may delivery sa bahay bukas."

"Delivery for what?"

"I'm going to set up a game room in our house. So I won't have to spend so much time going to gym. We'll have our own equipments and I'm setting up billiard table. At sa lawak ng bahay natin, magpapalagay na lang ako ng mini golf course."

"Wow! You have so many plans and you did not even bother asking me?"

"Well, I'm asking you now."

"Zach, you are not asking me. You are telling me! And you are so unbelievable."

"Ayaw mo ba?" malungkot na tanong ni Zach.

"I'm all good with that. But it's my home too, it would be nice if you asked me first."

"I'm sorry, Yve. This conversation will not happen again. My bad for not asking you first. I never have thought na baka may plano ka rin sa bahay."

"Apologies accepted. Wala naman akong plano sa ngayon except to set up all the paintings we bought. And decorate a little bit."

"Can I ask you a favor? Can you set up our wedding and honeymoon photos?"

Natigilan si Yve. Di niya minsan naisip na maglagay ng mga litrato nila sa bahay.

"I might consider."

"Well, naisip ko lang naman since we would like it to be a real home for us, might as well put our pictures there. It would feel more homey."

"Point taken, Zach. I'll think about it."

"Good. We're almost at the office. I'm gonna be busy in the next 3 hours. Sabay na tayong umuwi. Can you wait?"

"Yeah. I'm gonna be fine. Don't mind me."

"Good. Tatawagan na lang kita."

Hindi na siya sumagot. Habang wala si Zach, pag-aaralan niya ang ilang bagay na dapat niyang malaman lalo na ang pasikot-sikot sa negosyo. She's gonna have to embrace the new field she has not done before. Sana hindi busy ang papa niya. She smiled at the idea. Her father would be happy knowing she will start learning about their business. And she wants to make him proud.
