It was finally the day for Aaron and Takashi to move out of Japan and into America where they would go to college. Aaron going into business management while Takashi is going into law, aiming to be a lawyer. Aaron and Takashi, their families and friends now standing at the airport waiting for the plane to arrive. The two boys saying small goodbyes to the group, though Tamaki latched onto Aaron, hugging him and sobbing as he cried and begged him not to go. "Tamaki... I can't stay here, I already have my place in the college secured.." He whispered, petting his head softly. When the plane landed Aaron and Takashi hugged their families goodbye and slowly boarded, their things getting sorted and such. Once the two sat down in their seats Aaron leaned back with a soft sigh. "Mm... Tired..." Takashi looked over and smiled slightly.

"Go to sleep Aaron..." He whispered, patting his head softly. Aaron moved into the touch, mumbling a soft 'yeah... Nap...' Before promptly passing out. The plane ride was long, tiring, but worth it once it hit land. And when they did Takashi woke Aaron up by petting his head softly, Aaron groaned. "Are we there yet...?" Voice groggy but soft, Takashi nodded and slowly got up, collecting his carry on bags as well as Aarons. Aaron slowly got up and followed Takashi out of the plane, rubbing his eyes softly before he reached out and held onto the olders sleeve, letting himself be guided to the waiting car to pick both of them up.

Once they were both in the vehicle and situated they were driven to a small apartment complex, Aaron smiling softly as he looked out the window, he grey eyes shining softly, black hair looking like a dark grey in the sunlight. Mori's eyes kept on glancing over at him, he knew what he felt but sometimes questioned if it was love or just infatuation. A crush. A large crush on the boy. But deep down he knew that it STARTED as a crush and has since manifested into love. Though he didn't have a clue as to how he was going to confess to him. He would figure it out soon enough.

==========================================================

It had been about a week since the boys had moved into their apartments, ending up just one floor apart, Aaron having his apartment on the first floor while Mori had his on the second almost directly above Aaron's. Both of them were happy with this, of course, one showing it more than the other, though they knew each other well enough to know Mori was just as happy. Though barely having been in America a week, classes hadn't started yet, giving them a lot of free time to try and fill just hanging out. Honey didn't accompany them to college, having stayed in Japan.

Aaron woke up on a daily basis at around seven a.m, took a short ten-minute long shower, got dressed, made breakfast for two, which he sent a text to Mori saying breakfast was ready. They were adjusted to this schedule, seeing each other for breakfast, going out on the town for a bit then having lunch somewhere. Before they split and had some free time before meeting up again for dinner at either Takashi's place or Aaron's. Content and happy with this, they did it daily, though they did both take time to introduce themselves to the neighbors and say 'hello'.

By the end of the first week there, they both had gotten acquainted with the surrounding area, cafe's, clothing stores, bank, diner's, etc. Happy to say that they were even closer than they were in Japan, having large amounts of time together it almost felt like they were a married couple. Sometimes they even looked like it, especially in public, Aaron always holding onto Takashi's hand in the crowded city streets, soft blush dusting his cheeks as he walked talking with him. Words between them spoken, only to be heard by the other as the public pushed by them and around them hastily, rushing to their own destination.

Lies said to each other when they were alone about how happy they were to have the other as such a good friend, in reality, they both knew they had feelings for the other but were too scared to confront the other on the stares. The glances. The flustered cheeks. The stuttered words that mostly Aaron said when he got embarrassed. The fact that they would do anything for each other in a heartbeat. Or the fact that they tended to brush knuckles for a moment longer than they needed to. But both almost terrified to tell the other about the 'odd' or 'unusual' feelings.

========================================================

Classes finally started, both boys have been in America for about a month, sticking to the same routine, though having to change a little bit of it to accommodate their schedules. Aaron had one morning class, at about nine to eleven. Mori had one in the morning from nine to noon. Aaron met Takashi outside his morning class and caught a quick lunch to talk about classes and such at a nearby diner before they both had two-afternoon classes. Both being from one to three and three thirty to six. Though since they both went to the same school they passed each other in the thirty-minute gap and waved to each other.

Again, happy with this schedule, though they both felt like something was missing. Missing from their life and neither of them understood what that was until the moment Aaron was confronted outside of Takashi's first class one morning. A girl with dirty blonde hair and a determined gleam in her eyes as she waltzed up to Aaron. "Aaron!" He looked over, pausing mid-sentence as he looked at her. "Yes?" He seemed confused and almost like he didn't remotely know this person. "I tried getting your attention when you were leaving our first block, you were distracted though, so I won't hold it against you. Since you obviously won't make the first move. I want you to go on a date with me Aaron!"

Utterly confused and shocked he stared at her, blinking. "I-" He tried to get his thoughts together before asking a simple question. "Do... Do I know you...?" The girl took a step back in shock. "I say 'Hi' to you every morning in our first block! I literally asked you yesterday to be part of my group! Yes, you know me! What kind of question is that!" She seemed angry now. "I.. I'm sorry... But... I don't want to date you..." He whispered softly, twidling with his thumbs softly. "Why? I've been trying to get your attention for almost a week now. Why don't you want to date me, Aaron?" "Well... I... Uh..." He hesitated before looking up at her, an apologetic look. "There's already someone else that has my heart..." He whispered.

At that moment it all seemed to click. The girl wandering off with an understanding huff. Every glance, every hand brush. Every peck to the cheek or forehead. Every pat to the head. It all... Clicked inside both raven-haired boys brains. Every longing stare, every conversation about the topic of crushes or love interests made sense. Why they were both so hesitant to confess and why they both got a sneaking suspicion the other was hiding something. And now, as Aaron stood in front of Takashi in the busy hallway of their school, the words almost seemed natural to say. Smoothly running off his tongue to form words.

"Takashi... I think you should know... Who has stolen my heart... I've kept it quiet for this long... Because I didn't know how to tell you this but..." He paused before taking a deep breath, he said in the most certain voice Takashi had ever heard from him, with a determined gleam, the Japanese words tumbled off his lips.

"Takashi... I love you..."

And in response to the words, Takashi wrapped his arms around him and hugged him to his chest carefully. A happy gleam in his eyes with a matching small smile. The words he had longed to hear from the boy for almost a year. Something that started as a crush he didn't understand manifesting into the love that clicked into place perfectly. His mind racing with thoughts he didn't know he could have. Then... He stopped thinking. Letting the words settle in his mind before whispering in a soft, slick voice in the language he hadn't spoken in almost two months now.

"Aaron... I love you too..."
