"Summer." A bang sounds at the door across from where I'm sitting. "Open this fucking door." Ezra growls. The vibrations of his hands making contact with the door startles me, causing me to jump in my own skin. Closing my eyes, I push myself back so my back makes contact with the shower wall.

"If I have to kick this door in, your punishment will be a million times worst." A warm drop of water falls onto my bare thigh. I didn't realize that I was crying until now. My face is stone cold. My throat feels clogged as a small whimper leaves my dry, cracked lips.

"Please just leave me alone." Is the only words I can push out.  Just as the words leave my lips the banging stops.

Silents fall throughout the bathroom. I could hear his retreating footsteps down back into the hallway. It doesn't sound like he went too far. He's probably waiting for me to think that he's gone so when I walk out he could just jump on me.

My hands run themselves through my hair. Letting out a shaky breath, I wrap my arms around myself to warm up a little.

Footsteps return back outside the door.

"Summer come out, last warning. Keep me waiting long and I won't be easy on you." Ezra's voice is riddled with impetuosity. "You have to the count of three." As much as my mind screams to run and open the door, my body is frozen in place. My limbs are locked in place. More tears find themselves making a small puddle on my thigh.

Everything happens so quickly. Fragments of the door find themselves in my lap as well as the rest of the bathroom.

My brain shuts down. More tears fall as I forget to breathe. I could make out Ezra's blurry figure through the unshed tears that have yet to fall.

"Breath Summer. I'm not gonna kill you." My head is spinning. I'm gonna faint. I could feel it coming but I can't seem to breathe. I can't control my body. "Breath." Ezra tries to calm me down as crouches down to meet my eye level, yet he's still a couple of inches taller than me. My eyes plead since my voice cannot. My heart feels heavy as Ezra places a hand under my chin and roughly jerks my head upwards to make sure that my eyes have no choice but to meet his.

"When we get to the room, I want an explanation." Ezra growls before standing to his normal height. My eyes slowly droop. My heart is banging against their cage. I don't know if I can stay awake for much longer. Ezra's arms wrap themselves around me, cradling me to his body as he carries me out of the guest bathroom and towards the master bathroom that we shared.
