"What the heck do you mean?" This is maybe just the stupidest question that I've asked. "You mean like drugs, guns, and killing people?" I ask using my fingers to imitate guns being shot. Ezra lets out a little chuckle before nodding. "How many people have you killed?"

Ezra is taken back by my question but answers anyway. "I didn't keep count."

"And the dude you have in the basement?"

"Who are you talking about?" He thinks that I forgot his little conversation in the car.

"I heard you in the car on the way here." Ezra looks at me with a questioning look.

"He's alive." Ezra whispers looking down into my lap.

"What did he do?" I ask as my hand lifts Ezra's head to look at me.

"He stole from the family." Ezra declares.

"Stole what? What could be so Important to kill over?"

"He killed one of our girls."My face must have said it all. "We have some girls working for us and he made the dumb mistake of killing her." Ezra grip on my waist loosens a little. "I do not wanna lie to you about these things but I feel like, no I know that you'll hate me."

"Just tell me." I sigh.

"He killed one of our prostitutes."

"If you want you and me to work, you're gonna have to close that end of your business. How are did the women get there?" Ezra looks like he's about to disappoint me.

"Some of them are paying off debt and some were kidnapped."

"Ezra, what the fuck? What the hell is wrong with you? Those are people's daughters. Now, what if that was your daughter?" I don't know what to think about him.

"I'll do whatever you want. Just please, don't hate me." Ezra pleads.

"I don't hate you but what you're doing to those women is disgusting." I groan. "Let them go okay. I forgive you but just please let those women go and forgive their debts."

"Of course. I'll call them now." I move to climb off of his lap as Ezra grabs his phone out of his pocket before he stops me.

Ezra goes through his phone before putting the phone to his ear. I could hear the line ringing three times before someone answers the other line.

"Hey Pops, my girl demanded that shut thirty-two down and send them home." Ezra smiles down at me. I could only hear grumbles from the other side of the line before Ezra hangs up.

"Done. So now can I have my kiss?" Ezra pouts, pushing his bottom lip out at me.

"No. Now I need to go back to school on the 17th. I have my finals and I need my books with me asap." I sigh thinking about all the time that I wasted in the last couple days.

"Skylar's bringing those and everything that you need for class." The mention of Skylar's name reminds me of why I'm here. "What's wrong?" Ezra asks.

"I ju-" I stop to catch my breath before starting over. "You scared me, Ezra. I thought I was dead." I sigh looking away from Ezra and over into the corner.

"I'm sorry." Ezra sighs pulling me into his chest. "I would never do anything like that again. I never want you to be scared of me." Ezra whispers into my ear.

"I wanna shower. Where is the bathroom?" I ask struggling to move out of his grip but failing in the process. Ezra moves his hands down back to my waist, gripping me firmly leaving me at his mercy. "Ezra, come on I wanna shower." I groan. Ezra looks down at my bunched up skirt then at me with a smirk finding a way on his lips.

"You're right. You should go shower. I'll put some clothes on the sink. There are towels and everything that you need under the sink." Ezra slide me off his lap. "Do not lock the door."
