Arriving at Skylar's family beach house took my breath away. It's like one of those beach houses that you see in a movie. The house is right on the beach. Once the car comes to a complete stop, my door is open. The salty scent of the water hits me like a brick wall before I could even step out of the car.

"I told you that you needed this trip." Skylar says as she steps next to me with both of our bags in hand. "Isn't it amazing?"

"Beautiful. Thank goodness you got me out of that dorm." I sigh out.

"Alright come on. Let's get inside." Skylar says walking towards the wooden steps, leaving me to follow behind her.

Skylar never told me what her parents do for a living. But I guess it's not any of my business. It's just crazy that her parents must be billionaires. Every single holiday Skylar is on a trip to a different country on vacations with her parents. She even invited me to co with her family to Europe but I simply declined not wanting to take off work.

"How about we go out tonight?" Skylar squeals in excitement.

"What's around here?" I ask. I don't remember seeing anything out here. Just lots of trees.

"We're a half east of town. There's this underground club on the outskirts of town. The owner is a friend of mine." The door opens and my breath is taken away once again. I feel as if I'm in a movie. The house looks comfortable and full of love. The feeling of warmth surrounds me as I take a step into the house.

There are family photos everywhere. A white brick fireplace and the throw blankets placed on the two couches that face the huge television that's hanging from just above the fireplace.

"Skylar this place is amazing." I beam out.

"I'll tell mom that you think so. It took her months to decorate and she didn't let us see the place until it was finished. Now go upstairs and chose a room and get ready to go." Skylar stretches, letting out a little yawn. "I'm gonna go grab some wood and meet you back down here dressed in thirty minutes." Skylar shouts walking out the back door.

I'm in awe as I make my way up the oak wooden stairs and onto the second floor. I find myself with five choices in front of me.

The sound of thunder shakes the wooden floorboards underneath me. Welp tonight is off I refuse to get sick. Me being sick means that I'm stuck in the bed. Body weak and barely able to move. Shoot I'm already anemic.

Walking to the first door, that's closer to the stairs. The door creaks open revealing a decent size room with a white canopy bed in the middle of the room. Stepping into the room I slip my shoes off and leave them next to the door along with my bag. The sound of drops of a rain tap on the windows behind me. Taking a look at the window, the only thing I could see is the gray sky and the waves are rockier than when we got here.

"So I guess tonight's off." Skylar's voice startles me.

"Why do you have to sneak up on me?" I groan. "You know damn well that I refuse to go anywhere in this weather. Now, what's for dinner?" I ask. My stomach is a little empty.

"Damn I knew that I forgot something." Skylar stomps her right foot in aggravation. "There's a Chinese spot in town. I'm gonna go grab us some food. I guess you could relax, shower, and take a nap. I'll be gone for an hour at most." Skylar groans. "Everything that you need like soap and towels just look under the sink in the bathroom." She points toward a door that I have yet to notice.

"Get me something good." I call as she turns to walk down the stairs and out the front door.

Grabbing my clothes from my duffle bag, I make my way into my bathroom. The bathroom is your usual bathroom with a really bright pink shower curtain. Pushing the curtain back, I turn on the water and wait for it to heat up.

I grab everything I need from under the sink. The bathroom is quickly getting warmer so I stripe out of my clothes and jump into the shower.

I forgot my razor in my duffle bag by the bedroom door. Grabbing my towel from the sink counter, I walk out of the bathroom and into the bedroom.

The rain is still pouring down but this time heavier. The raindrops are pounding on the window, distracting me from the goosebumps that covers my exposed skin.

"Hey there." A deep raspy voice sounds from just behind me, as I bend over to grab my razor out of my bag. "Now how about you get dressed?" The deep voice chuckles as my heart stops. And not in a good way.
