The sun's setting when the sound of the front door slamming shut causes Skylar and me to jump out of our skin. Ezra walks in and makes his way up the stairs. Skylar slumps back down into the couch to finish Pitch Perfect. Getting up from the couch, I make my way to Ezra's bedroom and walk right in without knocking, leaving the door open behind me.
"Do you mind if-. Are you bleeding?" I ask walking over to Ezra.
"No it's not my blood." Ezra says walking into the bathroom, leaving the door open behind him.
"Is Brody okay?" I ask. I hope that's not his blood.
"Yeah, Broady's fine. Some idiot thought that he could rob me when I was on my way home." Ezra takes his shirt off and dropping it on the bathroom floor before walking over to me, wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Are you okay?" I whisper.
"It's not the first time that I've had a gun to my head Sunny." Ezra laughs.
"Why do you call me Sunny?" I asked tilting my head to the side looking up at Ezra.
"When I think of Summer I think of the sun. When I look at you, I think about much light you bring me." Pulling me into a short passionate kiss before pulling away and looking down at me. "How does salmon sound for dinner?" Ezra ask, swaying us from side to side.
"You cook?" I ask in disbelief. Ezra laughs loud enough that I'm pretty sure that Skylar could hear him downstairs.
"My mom always told me that I'm supposed to cook for my wife."
"Who said that I'm going to marry you?" I question crossing my arms in front of my chest. "I don't remember you ever giving me a choice in anything dealing with us.
"Sunny don't start this again. Can we just start over?" Ezra beg, attempting to give me puppy eyes.
"And if I say no, can I go home?" I ask.
"Of course this is your time to make your choice." Ezra unravels his arms from my waist, taking a step back.
Am I stupid if I stay with him? I don't want to regret my decission. Should I stay or should I go?
"Say I stay, can I leave if I want out?" I wanna know that I have an escape plan ready to go.
"You could leave at any time."
"I'll stay only if you let me make garlic bread." I smile walking over to Ezra.
"Anything for you baby. I'm gonna jump in the shower and I'll meet you downstairs." Ezra places a peck on my lips before walking into the bathroom, leaving the door open behind him.
"I'm leaving see you guys later." Skylar calls from downstairs. Seconds later I hear the front door slam shut.
Sitting on the edge of the bed, I wait for Ezra to get out of the shower. I know better then to walk downstairs in this big house alone while Ezra wouldn't be able to hear me if anything went array. I've read too many mafia kidnap books.
The sound of the water running in the shower calms my fangirlish mind. I take this time to lay back on the bed and lay back and relax. Skylar never did give me my phone. I take my time to sit up to take a look around the room for Ezra's phone. My first thought is to look in the bathroom. What guy would leave their phone out for someone to look through?
I get up from the bed and make my way towards the open bathroom door. The steam from the shower smokes up the threshold. Taking a step into the bathroom, the warm moist thick air hits me. My eyes drift to Ezra's body completely exposed by but hidden from by the fog, leaving my imagination to run wild.
I'm not going to lie. When he came here back with blood on his shirt I was worried. After finding out he and Broady were fine, well I'm not going to lie. I was a little turned on. And that is how I know that I am fucking crazy.
Spotting his phone on the counter, I quietly walk over to grab it when the sound of the shower's glass door opening.
"What are you doing?"
