Chapter 1

                Aurora’s POV

            Flashback.

I lose myself in the song, singing it over and over. Somewhere in the middle I can hear the front door open and close. But before I can even think to stop, a voice scares me the most.

 

            “Aurora, why didn’t you tell me you sang like that?” Zayn.

 

            As I turn around, I start to hyperventilate.

 

            Standing there along with Zayn is Louis. And he just heard me sing.

           

            Back in the present.

 

            “WHAT THE HELL, SHE CAN TALK!? Z-ZAYN, COME ON MAN, HAS SHE ALWAYS BEEN ABLE TO TALK!?” Louis screams, jumping up and down like a monkey. Really? He never wondered how Zayn knows so much about me.

            Getting up off of my stool, I push past them and into my room, shutting the door behind me. I’m so stupid. I shouldn’t have sung today. I shouldn’t even have stepped into the Music Room.

            But I did.

            Now I’m stuck.

            “Yes, Lou, she can speak but you fricking scared her away!” I heard Zayn shout at Louis loudly, and slight thumping to my room. Damn. He was coming to get me.

Please don't come get me, please don't come get me, please don't come get me... I chanted in my mind, tears watering my eyes. I know I'm a horrible singer; I just sang because it made me feel good, and secure.

This time it made me feel like a freak.

Unnatural. Even though my boyfriend was a famous singer, but....

still.

 "Aurora, come out, I promise I won't judge you. I just want to give you a hug." HA, that was fake.

Faker than fake.

"Yeah right Zayn, come on, just tell me I was horrible and get it over with." I say back, my voice cracking in multiple places.

"I won't tell you a lie."

 I turn around quickly, unlocking the door and peering out at the cracks. Seeing Zayn's brown eyes sends me over the edge. "I-I'm sorr-sorry. I thought you and Louis would judge me..." I bury my head in his shoulder, soaking the fabric.

"Babe! I would never judge you! Come 'ere!" Louis pipes up, and I giggle. I fall out of Zayn's grasp and land in Louis' arms, smelling his clean scent.

 "You're like another brother, Lou. Thankyou."
