Chapter Seven

Chapter Seven 

"Hey girlypop." Nat says, walking into the living room with a tub of ice-cream in her hands.

"Hey Nat." I reply, leaning back into the leather sofa, not concentrating on the TV at all. I hear another pair of footsteps coming from the hallway and out comes Jen, still wearing her PJs. I almost do a double-take seeing her hair. 

Nat bursts out laughing, "Oh my God, Jen your hair! It looks like a nest!"

Jen then picks up a pillow and throws it at her. "Shut up Nat, yours isn't looking that great now is it?" 

Nat grins and positions the pillow next to her, "Well, I honestly do NOT care about my HAIR! Ooh, that rhymed. I'm going to become a rapper."

A knock on the door cuts me off from saying anything and so I get up and look through the peephole. "Well how about this? It's just fan-fuking-tastic. Look who decided to SHOW UP?" 

Jen and Nat begin to make noises like seagulls. Well, not really but they sounded a lot like them. "Who? Who? Who? Who?" 

I roll my eyes and point toward the wooden door, "Take it away Natalie!" 

Natalie's face is crossed between bewilderment and excitement. "Me? Okay." 

She looked through the peephole and groaned. "Ew, who gave him the address?" 

Jen grinned cheekily, "Whoops! Wasn't me. Definitely did NOT text the wrong person the address." 

Nat glared at her before putting on a smile and swinging open the door.

"Hey Luke!" 

Snuggling into Zayn, I sigh and look up at him. "So... what movie are we gonna watch?"

Zayn smiles down at me and kisses my forehead, "I don't care, you pick one."

I grin and get up off the couch quickly, making my way over to the DVD case. I skim my finger over some of them before pulling out a Harry Potter movie. "Let's watch the HP series!"

Zayn rolls his eyes before getting up. "I'm getting a blanket. And some food."

I smile and pop in the DVD, waiting for the screen to load. I go and sit back down on the sofa, waiting for Zayn. 

He comes back with a bunch of food in his arms and sits down next to me. I wrap the blanket around the both of us and rest my head on his shoulder.

The movie starts and halfway through it, my eyelids are feeling droopy and I close my eyes. I feel somebody carry me somewhere and lay me on the bed, before kissing me on the forehead and shutting the door quietly. I snuggle into the bed more and fall asleep quickly.

I pry my eyes open the next day, only to see Zayn sleeping next to me. I smile and slowly slide out of bed. I make my way toward the kitchen to see Nat and Jen standing there staring at someone’s phone.

I rub my eyes and yawn, “What’s going on?”

Both of their heads snap up and while Nat grins, Jen’s smile just kind of fades.

“Jen got asked on a date! Tonight! By Niall! How cute?”

I grin and walk up the bench. “That’s good as Jen! Why aren’t you happy?”

She walks over to the window and stares out of it for a couple of seconds, before turning back around. “Because obviously I have nothing to wear!” She wails, “And why would out of all people Niall ask me out? He’s probably asked only to make me feel better! He probably knows I like him and is probably trying to like… put me down!”

Nat gives Jen a weird look before placing a hand on her shoulder, “Jen, Niall is so into you it’s not even funny anymore. He really likes you and you have TONS of things to wear. You could even borrow something of Rora’s.”

Jen kind-of-smiles before groaning again.

“He said it was a surprise date! How am I supposed to know what to wear?!”
