I don't think I've ever been in love before but I swear at that moment I couldn't figure out what else to call what I was feeling for this man.

It was weird really, I never thought that I would get to actually love someone. I was always sure my mother or father would marry me off to some rich man.

I know my mother would be ecstatic when she found out about my feelings for Daniel, but my father would most definitely sit me down and make me think of what I was getting myself into.

Besides I was his little girl, he was supposed to be that way.

"Caroline sweetheart, are you okay?" You've been quite for awhile."

"Oh yah I'm fine I was just thinking."

"About what?"

"Nothing, I am just, happy." I said with a smile.

He smiled back at me and said, "I'm happy that you are happy."

"Can I ask you a question?"

"Of course anything!"

"Was that moment a little too cheesy."

He burst into a fit of laughter making his broad shoulders move slightly with the rhythm of his laughter.

It was really adorable.

I couldn't stop myself from laughing along with him. His laugh was like music to my ears.

"Caroline are you sure you are ok?"

Daniel asked me that question for the past week.

We were sitting on the front porch just talking, we've been here sense morning and hardly moved from out spots next to each other.

Daniel never let me out of his sight sense the incident. I was a little annoyed by it but that doesn't mean what happened still didn't bug me.

I felt my eyes well up with tears, but I quickly blinked them away not wanting him to see me cry.

"No, I'm not, but thank you for distracting me this week I did need that."

"Are you okay to go inside?"

"I'd actually would love some time alone."

He looked at me with concern, I was afraid he was going to decide that I was unstable or something preposterous like that.

"Alright but I would like to see you before you go to your chambers tonight."

Sighing with relief, I nodded my head and hugged him then quickly made my way to the barn.

The ground silently crunched against my heels, the rocks made it almost impossible to walk but I made it.

I was hit by the overwhelming smell of horses and the sweet smell of hay, the occasional snort, or an excited horse clopping their hoofs on the ground. It seemed like forever sense I've seen my horse but it's probably only been a week or so.

From the back of the barn I heard a familiar whinny that had me running towards the stall that it came from.

Bruno was throwing his head back and slightly rearing in his stall looking wild.

"Whoa boy easy!"

I reached my hand out to his muzzle and he immediately calmed down.

"Did they keep you in this stall the whole time? What a bunch of gits.(idiots)"

I really wanted to take him out but I didn't know where any of my tack was and I was not going to get this borrowed dress dirty.

I walked into a tack room hoping to find my saddle but it wasn't there. What was there was a pair of boy clothes that didn't seem too big for me.

"Hmm."

I smiled evilly, checking to make sure no one was here I quickly changed into the plain brown slacks and green T-shirt.

I tired on the boots but they were to big, whenever I tried to walk they would practically fall off.

"Oh well", I can just go barefoot.

I suddenly heard voices.

"Oh biscuits", I thought to myself. "Now I have to hide."
