The Kiss (finally;))

"Let's just go to my house ok?"

I nodded my head and let him lead me to the carriage. When I say down he looked so worried. I don't blame him my tear streaked face and hanging head was probably enough to worry a person.

He slid over next to me and places my head on his shoulder and let me cuddle in close to him.

We didn't speak the whole ride there which I'm glad he didn't because I didn't feel like talking that much anymore. All I really wanted was to go to bed.

I felt the carriage come to a halt making my unprepared body rush forward. I would of fallen if Daniel didn't have his arms around me.

"Steady there sweetheart let's go inside ok?"

"Okay", was all I said and let him lift me up and to the house bridal style.

As we were walking up the stone path I finally couldn't contain my questions anymore they just spilled out.

"How do you have the strength to throw that man?" Do you know who he was?" "why did he say he wanted me, and why did he do those things to me? do you think he was going to rape me?"

He let out a low husky chuckle and squeezed me tighter against him.

"Caroline why don't we go to that place I was talking about?" I will answer all of your questions there ok?"

"I do not know Daniel I'm not in the best state right now to be traveling so far."

To be honest I just really

wanted to go to my room and shut the door and pretend it never happened.

"I know what you are thinking and sitting in your room will not help you through this you need to talk to someone."

By someone he meant him.

"I can still feel his hands on me Daniel."

When I said that he turned with me in his arms and jogged towards the forest behind his house. He set me down on a log and crouched down in front of me.

"Caroline that man only did those things because he was probably drunk or high." But that doesn't change that what he did to you was wrong, and I hope you never have to go through that again."

He slowly leaned towards me and when I didn't pull away he closed the distance between us.

When his lips first finally met mine I kind of just sat there astonished that this was happening, but I finally gave in and kissed him back. It was like fireworks had gone off and little zaps going all over my body it was amazing.

I can't remember the last time I kissed someone but I KNOW it was nothing like this. Daniels lips were soft against mine moving slow as if he's done it a thousand times.

Wow mood killer. I just thought of him with other women.

He put his hand on my hip making me flinch slightly. Thinking of what happened earlier.

He instead of moving up or anything perverted he just started rubbing my hip in a comforting way. It was strange how this man could make me feel so safe after everything that happened.

He was the first one to pull away which almost made me whimper, but I DIDNT because that would be embarrassing.

I felt my lips and they felt full from his kiss. I couldn't help but smile up at this wonderful man.

"Thank you", it was all I could think of saying.

"Now I want you to think of me never him again he's in the past and will never come near you. I am here for you now and forever and I want you to always know that."
