lexi pov

"dude, are you even gonna swim or just suntan?" kenz asked as i laid on my stomach.

"suntan."

"at least swim with me for a little while?" she whined.

"fine, i will when you boyfriend gets here." i looked up at her.

"he is not my boyfriend, but fine."

she totally loved the fact that i called him her boyfriend. she just doesn't want to admit it. but maybe him and who ever he's bringing won't be so bad. kenz and i always stay for about an hour and leave because we get so bored. maybe we could hang for a while and i can get a real tan.

"oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, he's here." kenz geeked. "he just pulled into the parking lot."

i sat up. "okay, calm down. act normal dude. he's just another guy. you've talked to so many other guys before. just be yourself."

i could tell she was nervous still, but she nodded her head telling me she was calm.

"hey." we heard from behind us.

i turned around and saw two boys. the shorter one smiled at us and kenz turned and looked at him. "hey."

"here sit down," i said and scooted over so he and his friend could sit.

he sat down next to kenz and his friend sat down next to me. "so this is lexi by the way." kenz said.

i smiled at the two boys. they smiled back, but the friend, who's name i don't know, his smile caught my eye, he had a very nice smile. it felt heart warming honestly.

"this is chase." payton said.

"nice to meet you chase," kenz said with a wave.

i just smiled at him, hoping i could see him smile again.

"wanna swim?" payton asked.

"i do. you gotta ask lexi though, she just wants to tan." kenz smiled at me as both boys looked at me.

"yes, i want to swim." i told them.

they got up before me as i was taking my sunglasses off, and taking my hair out of the bun.

the tall one, chase was his name, stuck his hand out for me to take. i grabbed it and he pulled me up, walking over to the water where payton and kenz were already.

"so were you a little sketch out when payton invited you to meet us, even though he has never met us?" i asked the brunette boy.

"i mean," his voice was low and mellow. "i seems like i should of been sketched about it, but i meet so many fans everyday, that meeting new people doesn't really bother me, i like it honestly." he answered.

"wait, fans?"

"oh yah, i'm going to assume payton hasn't told kenz about it, but um, have you heard of tiktok? it's like this app that people lip sync on, it's kind of like vine, but also not really." he said while we took our time getting into the water since it was cold.

"musically?" i asked.

"yah!" he said getting very happy. "it used to be called musically, they changed the name to tiktok now, but its the exact same thing." he said, smiling at me.

i don't understand why, but that smile is just, just something.

"so you guys got famous off of the app i assume?" i laughed a little.

"yah, you could say that, i wouldn't call us famous or anything, but we both did get a pretty big follow count on the app." he said.

"damn so that's what the fan's are from then. do you get mobbed and all that then?"

he laughed, "no. fans will come up and ask for pictures but it's usually small groups. we aren't like shawn mendes or anything."

"are you bums gonna come join or just stand there ankle deep the whole time?" kenz yelled.

"it's cold!" i yelled back.

"you kinda just gotta go for it." payton said.

i looked at chase and he started to walk faster into the water, i followed, and let me tell you, it was cold. but once we got in more, it warmed up.
