"okay, tell me if i'm wrong, but chase and lexi, they haven't been flirting, but they have been talking non stop, like the lake when they were talking by the shore, and the 'i'll go with you so you're not a loner' and just now. one of them definitely likes the other one, or both for that matter." i told payton. we were cuddling on the couch watching criminal minds.

"no you're very right. chase is very shy when it comes to any human being though, so i feel like there is something there. he never would have gone with someone he just met, alone if it was just nothing, it's definitely something." he told me.

"should we talk to them? or just see how it goes?" i asked looking up and him since i was laying on his chest.

"lets see how it plays out, i wanna see how chase does this." he smirked.

his smirk was so hot.

payton then turned his head back to the show. "i'm glad we finally got to meet." he said not looking at me.

"me too." i smiled as i put my head back on his chest.

"you're cute, you know that?" i could feel him move his head, he was looking at me.

i looked at him and i could feel my cheeks heat up.

i just looked at him, took in all his facial features, he was perfect. his smile, his eyes, his lips. god i could kiss those lips.

then.. the doorbell rang. moment ruined.

lexi pov

"okay for real, i should not be losing this bad to a girl." chase said.

"oh i'm going to kill you for that comment." i said, i then aimed for his head in the game.

"head shot bitch!" i yelled, but not to loud.

"okay, okay i'm sorry. let me shoot you just once, just to say i did something." he whined playfully.

"fine. i'm right here, come get me." i said.

i saw his person walk up behind me and aim his gun at me, i then turned around and shot him, him dying. then the game ended. me winning.

"that was just rude." he said as he shook his head at me.

"hey, i told you you'd be the loser." i shrugged.

i set the controller down and the door bell rang.

"pizza!" chase yelled running to the door. "come on!" he told me as i walked slowly to the door to annoy him.

"you're so slow." he said, walking back to me and grabbing my hand again. he then pulled me out the door and down the stairs.

"there is pop and other crap in the fridge." i heard payton say to kenz in the kitchen.

we both walked into the kitchen and chase went straight for the pizza while i walked over to kenz who was handing me a water, she knows pop isn't my thing.

"wait so if you don't drink pop, what do you drink?" chase asked actually confused.

"well water, but mainly apple juice. im obsessed with apple juice." i told them.

"she is, she buys them all the time, like anytime we go to the store or something she buys apple juice." kenz said.

"i would say thats weird but you like what you like." chase said as he took a bite of his pizza.

us four sat around paytons table and ate. "guys, you should have seen it, but i beat chase's ass in call of duty." i bragged.

"no way, even i can't beat him." payton whined.

"i would say did you let her win, but i know she's good at that game, she used to play with her dad all the time." kenz said.

that brought my mood down.

"why don't you guys still play? i bet you would still beat his ass." chase asked laughing to what he said.

i just smiled. "well he passed away 3 years ago, cancer." i said.

"oh, i'm sorry." chase said. he looked genuine.

"no its okay, 2 years prior to that he was in so much pain, i was happy that he got away from the pain." i told them.

kenz walked around the table and hugged me from behind. i felt a tear fall down.

"nope, nope, no sappy moments. lets talk about payton and kenz here, you to dating yet?" i said wiping the tear away and changing the subject.

"yah for real, make it official." chase said.

kenz walked back to her seat. "we just met in person for the first time, we gotta take things slow." kenz said.

"yah you're right." chase replied.

"but soon." payton commented before taking a bite of pizza.
