Lance stayed in his room the whole day after the mission we had. Lance had gotten distracted during the mission. He had been acting weird most of the day, even before the mission. Keith was really worried, he cared about Lance a lot. He thought Lance was strong and amazing at a lot of things. He was such a flirt and it kinda made Keith mad. Keith liked Lance. He didn't like to see Lance flirt with other girls and guys. Lance was open about being bisexual. Everyone found out he was bi because of how he flirted with guys.
Keith got up from the bed and started to walk towards Lance's room. He stood in front of the door, thinking about what to do. He was nervous and he didn't understand why. When he was about the leave, he heard something coming from Lance's room. He listened and heard small sobs coming from the other side of the door. He called out for Lance.

"Lance!"

"..."

"Lance, please answer me. I know you're in there."

Lance didn't answer. Keith got worried and opened the door. He saw Lance in the corner of his bed. He had his knees up to his chest and his head down on top of his knees. Lance looked up to see Keith. Keith had a scared and worried expression. They met each other's eyes. Keith started to walk up the Lance, but Lance stopped him.

"Don't come close, please."

"Why? Tell me what's wrong."

"N-nothing is wrong. I-I'm okay."

"Lance, you're obviously not! Please, let me help!"

Keith started to walk towards Lance again. This time Lance didn't say anything. Keith set beside Lance.

"You can talk to me. I won't judge, I promise."

"I just don't feel like that enough. The team would be better without me. I'm just a waste of space. I fuck up everything."

"Lance you're not a waste of space. You're really important to the team. Without you, we wouldn't have gotten this far. You have no idea how important you are to us...to me"

Lance looked up at Keith with wide eyes. They met each other's eyes. Keith started to feel the heat in his cheek, he was blushing. Once he knew he was blushing he looked away from Lance.

"I'm important to you...?"

"I said to us, all of us."

"You also said that I was important to you."

"I know what I said. Yes, you're important to me, Lance. I care a lot about you, as a friend."

"Thank you, Keith. I care about you too. You're caring, strong, smart, and well...beautiful."

"B-beautiful?"

"Yes, Keith. I've actually liked you for so long. I never told you because I thought you would be disgusted. I'm really sorry Keith, but I just can't hide my feelings anymore."

Lance put his head back down on his knees and started to cry a little. Keith was in shock. Did Lance like him? The guy Keith's had feelings for, like him back?! Keith saw Lance was starting to cry again. He quickly pulled Lance into a hug. Lance was confused, he thought Keith was disgusted by what he had said.

"K-Keith? Aren't you disgusted by what I said? I have feelings for you, Keith. I like you."

"I heard you loud and clear, Lance. I'm not disgusted by it."

"Wait..."

Lance pulled away from the hug and looked at Keith. Keith was blushing and couldn't meet Lance's eyes.

"Look at me, please."

Keith looked up at Lance. Lance saw the most beautiful violet eyes. They were so powerful. Lance cupped Keith's face with his head. He brush Keith's cheek with his thumb.

"Lance...I have feelings for you too. You're amazing, strong, and honest. I like you too, Lance."

Lance smiled warmly and giggled. Keith could heard his heartbeat getting louder. He was falling for Lance more and more. He couldn't help it anymore. Keith moved on closer to Lance. Making Lance blush uncontrollably. Keith looked at Lance's lips. Keith bit his lip without even knowing. Lance saw what Keith had happened. Lance knew exactly what Keith wanted to do. So, Lance decided to go for it. He put his arms around Keith's neck and pulled him closer. Keith was surprised at first, but he put his hands on Lance's waist. They kissed a couple times, but a minute later it turned into an aggressive make out session. They pulled away to catch their breath.

"Fuck, I've been wanting to do that for so long."

"I know, I saw you biting your lip while looking at mine. But I've also been waiting for it to happen too."

Lance looked at Keith, who was slightly blushing. He smiled warmly at him, Keith smiled back. Keith kissed Lance's forehead.

"I love you, Lance."

"I love you too."
