Leo POV
It was a normal night, the busy New York streets, the crowds of people hurrying home. Kat hasn't said much since our date 3 days ago, she has quite eating as well, and she didn't sleep. Her eyes would change into animal like slits and she'd go and stand at the entrance of the lair.
She attacked anyone who came close to me, I wasn't worried about myself but more for her.
I decided to go back to the lair, when I got back Donnie rushed me to his lab and all the boys locked all exits and entry ways.
"What is it? What's this all about?" I asked.
Donnie looked at me sympotheticly,"its about Kat...take a seat." I sat down in one of the chairs.
"Kat is going to become an fully animal the more she shifts, the faster the process will speed up." Donnie explained.
"What happens if she becomes fully animal?" My voice was shaking.
"She'll forget all her memories, she'll forget who she is and was and I don't think I can find anything to cure her...." Donnie's voice cracked at the last part.
"Kay told me in our meditation sessions that every month the Krang would give her a type of shot injected into her blood." Splinter said scratching his head.
Donnie's face lit up," That's it!! Her life force is unstable that's why they repeatedly had to add mutagen and other components of some sort to keep her body at stable conditions! Which means the only way we can help her....."
I jumped up,"Don't you dare give her back to the Krang! She's been through enough with them!!"
Raph grabbed my shoulder,"Its the only way well follow and watch over her making sure they don't do anything to her."
"I won't help! I want to save her but not like this-" Mickey covered my mouth with a rag and I felt dizzy.
I fell limply to the floor, "why?" I squeaked out barly audible.
The blurry figures towering over me, "it's for your own good Leo..."
I blacked out the world becoming dead to me.
