Milly was sent away with Ida and Jaxxon decided to retreat to his room before even listening about what I had to say. My parents just stood up and when to what I think is there private quarters. I wouldn't even be able to tell you where exactly my parents slept but I honestly couldn't care less, although it was lonely by myself in the dining room.
''Frank,'' I called upon my handsome warrior.
''Could you go grab me my fourth phone please?'' I said and he promptly dashed into the kitchen to revive my extra phone. This one I kept for parties at my place. I opened up my phone.
Elliizabethany: My Knight, do you think you could make it to a party at my place tonight?
He replied almost instantaneously. Well, skipping playing hard to get, he was serious. This must be love.
Marcus: Not tonight, but tomorrow.
Eliizabethany: There's no party tomorrow.
Marcus: Silly, I am the party 😉
My heart skipped a beat. He was so charming.
Eliizabethany: Until then, my dear.
I closed my phone, not waiting for a reply.
''Could you please put this away and then come back?'' I told him with a flicker of my wrist.
"Yes miss," he answered, his strong hands delicately taking my phone. I twirled my hair around my finger, smiling as he left and entered back in.
"Will you please keep me company?" I said, lacing my arms around his thick neck. His lips curled at the end, forming a smile. He picked me up easily, taking me to the library where we all our time until the first guests started to arrive at 9:45. Don't worry, I know how to look tidy and proper even after an hour of...that.
Frank had to run away to help or something when I was finally called to the door to greet Mr 'Patty face' Lawrence McKinnon. Wide man, big cheeks and stubble of black hair on the top of his head. I think mum had an affair with him a few years ago, don't ask me why but she did randomly come home with a new collection of Chanel handbags one day.
The big man was married to sweet Tulip, only recently wedded not less than year after the death of his late and much adored wife Lolly Danvers-McKinnon. They did not make public appearances often and so it was quite to my amazement that they showed up, although many people do simply die for the opportunity to go to a Vegas party. The girl was young, she couldn't have been much older than me. She was shy and her looks were honestly rather dull if not schoolgirl like. She wore a simple blue frock, very different to the magnificently beautiful Lolly. I wonder how she got so lucky.
Next was Zara and Zachary, I would say their last names but they don't have ones; they joined the trend of just having a singular name, or tried to start one anyway. They were Zayden's parents and he had come to show his face as well. If I wasn't going to see Marcus tonight, I guess now there was more game to play. Zayden certainly noticed me, I mean how could you not with my beauty, and winked as he left to the ballroom. Tonight was going to be fun.
After that came my beautiful bestie Amburr, with no parents of course because she's a free, independent woman. She wore a sparkling pink dress which puffed out like a marshmallow at the bottom. It would have looked silly on anyone else. I curtseyed to her as she entered, giving the sign to her to meet me behind the buffet table.
There were about 70 other esteemed guests after that; from the muscular and much too self obsessed body builder, Derrimiah Zeng, and my brother's somewhat cute but much too reserved friend Billy or 'Zappo' who wore an old man's grey suit, to Princess London of the extremely rich micro-nation London (honestly, I wish someone would tell her that London's already a place), and Sir and Lady Duncan of Scone who were so tall that even I couldn't see what their faces looked like.
Suddenly, I heard a piercing scream. My hands flew to my ears, and then immediately began unstrapping one of my Gucci heels to use as a missile. No one had the right to assault my beautiful eardrums. My eyes narrowed as I looked around the room for the culprit. They had better be worth more than my shoes.
Then, I saw him.
He was the most handsome boy I had ever laid my eyes upon. He put every single other male in the room to shame. His warm brown eyes twinkled at me as he pushed away the screaming lady. He probably thought she was an annoying fangirl. I couldn't agree more.
"Awwww, that's such an adorable puppy!" I said, running across the room to cuddle him. I scratched him behind the ears until I realised I was ruining my dress. Oh well, a little manipulation could get me an even better one. I glared at the woman who had the audacity to ruin my hearing. "HOW DARE YOU?!"
"I'm scared of dogs, miss. I'm sorry if I offended you."
"That's no excuse. Unless you want me to ruin you and your whole family, you WILL pay me the money to get a replica of this dress." I responded. Of course I didn't need the cash, but it was fun to see her so scared.
"But you were the one who chose to pat-"
"Are you trying to be rude now? I don't want to listen to your pathetic excuses. I have a lot of influence, so unless you want to be publicly humiliated, give me the money before tomorrow morning."
The woman sighed, defeated. "Alright, I'll pay you-"
"$500 000," I cut in.
"...by tomorrow morning." she said, her ashen face crumpling as she realised the weight of the consequences.
"Good. Now get out of my way, I need to speak to my son."
She looked at me incredulously. "You have a child?"
I looked at her indignantly. "Yes," I responded, gesturing to the dog.
"Oh
