The Newest shard! But He's Not That New!?

"Alrighty, everyone. I know Menma's wedding is getting really Exciting and all, and many of you are going to be attending in some way or another.... But we have to take care of Absilon." The Supreme Kai of Time said, looking at the Current Shards. "Vegeta and Sorbet will be the only ones going this time around. Your job is to replace your other self in the Cell Games, where this new shard appears, Vegeta. Sorbet will be there as support."

"Got it." Sorbet said. "Ready?"

"Ready." Vegeta said as they left. They arrived at The Lookout, much to the surprise of Everyone there. Sorbet quickly hid behind Vegeta, whimpering.

"Father? There are.... Two of you now....?" Trunks said in shock.

"Sorbet?" Vegeta said, looking at the small alien clinging to his shin.

"Huh? Oh, right. Um.... None of them."

"Hrm." Vegeta said. "Kakarot and Gohan are in the Time Chamber, Correct?"

"Y-yeah. They just went in." Trunks answered.

"So.... Are you from the future as well?" Piccolo asked, glaring at him.

"Sort of, yeah. The problem is, I'm looking for someone. The date of EVERY future depends on me finding them. Whoever they are..." Vegeta mumbled that last part, though Piccolo heard it.

"How do you not know who they are?" He snapped.

"They have a specific type of ki. It will react with mine, since I have the same kind. But we don't have a clue since I haven't been near them yet." Vegeta explained rather calmly. "Sorbet here has a similar ki as well. But when he looks at them, his eyes change colors."

"You..... You're from another Timeline aren't you?" Trunks asked. Vegeta simply nodded. "That explains so much."

"Mmm. Sorbet, let's go check out the Cell Games Arena." Vegeta said.

"The.... O-ok. You think we'll find the shard there?"

"It's worth a shot." Vegeta said, picking up the small alien and flying over. It took a few minutes, but they finally found it, landing. Sorbet's eyes immediately changed, looking at Cell, and Cell hummed, spotting them.

"I was wondering when you two would show." He said calmly. "Alssissia mentioned you would be looking for me."

"Alssissia?" Sorbet said shocked. "Wait, how long have you been active?"

"A long while. In my timeline..... Bulma took care of me. She re-outfitted 19 to carry me like a real mother would. She reprogrammed me a bit too. So I came back to the past to defeat the Androids and I did. All that time, I felt their love. Bulma and Trunks.... And 19 of course.

"If we get them for you...... Will you come with us?" Vegeta asked.

"You would do that?" Cell asked, surprised. He was silent a moment, then nodded. "Yeah, sure."

Vegeta went off to make the call, and Sorbet noticed Cell's wings doing a happy little flutter. He was definitely excited about this, that was for sure.

Vegeta came back, smiling. "Done. Now let's head back. We can wait for them in Conton City."

"Thank you, Vegeta." Cell said. "I honestly thought I would never see them again. I thought I would have to play the bad guy here for a bit."

"Nah. Let's get you home then."

Absilon watched from one of the buildings as Cell reunited with 19, Bulma, and Trunks. Something was happening to him. That was obvious. He felt different. The more Shards that were found, the more.... Docile he felt. As if Alssissia were right there beside him again, like old times.

"I WILL BRING YOU BACK MY LOVE. EVEN IF THE WHOLE TIMELINE HAS TO BURN." He said softly.
