"Alright class," Jason's english teacher called out, clapping her hands together to capture the attention of the rowdy teens. "As you all know, Sunday is Father's Day. So, you all will be writing a short essay on a memory you have with the father figure in your life."
Jason stared at the lined paper before him, trying to think of who to write about and a good memory with that person before raising his hand tentatively.
"Yes, Jason?"
"What if I have more than one dad?"
The teacher laughed humorlessly, "You can't have two dads, Jason."
Jason narrowed his eyes at her, understanding what she was implying, "Good thing I have three."
The class fell silent at that statement, confusion setting in. Questions were muttered at how that was possible and the teacher was silently fuming.
"Alright," she breathed out, Jason could practically see the steam coming out of her ears, "since you seem so adamant on the fact that you have multiple dads you can either call them in right now or head over to the principal's office."
She looked slightly smug after that statement, truly believing that Jason was acting out and not being serious. After all, she had been teaching middle schoolers for years, it wasn't unlikely for them to interrupt or just be generally disrespectful.
Much to her surprise, however, Jason simply replied with a cheery "Okay!" and asked to make a couple calls.
The teacher agreed to that, sarcastically demanding to meet his three moms, too, to which Jason merely grinned at her with a small nod.
-smol time skip-
"Hey mom, my English teacher asked to meet my dads and moms."
"What? Why?" Trina asked, panicking a bit.
"Don't worry, it's really nothing. There was an assignment about my dad and I asked 'what if you have more than one?' and then she was being homophobic, and then-"
"Alright, I get it," Trina said, "Luckily for you, everyone will be off work before three, so we'll talk to her then, okay?"
"Yeah, okay, thanks mom," Jason grinned, hanging up the phone with a quick 'bye' and 'love you too'.
When Jason told the teacher that they would have to meet after school, she reluctantly agreed and sent him back to the principals with a pink slip.
"Just write the assignment about your biological father for homework," she said to him, "with that, you are all dismissed!"
She seemed extremely relieved to have gotten rid of that class, most likely because of Jason. It was completely unfair, really. He had asked a simple question and because of that got sent to the office and he now has homework! He mentally raged at just how ridiculous it was as he began the long trek to the office for the second time that day.
-wowie another time skip: after school-
Three cars pulled into the parking lot as Trina, Mendel, Charlotte, Cordelia, Whizzer and Marvin steeped out of them. The English teacher stood stunned as all six of them walked towards her. Jason had a small smug smirk on his face, trying not to laugh as her expression became more and more dumbfounded.
"We'll talk in my room," she said curtly when the six adults finally approached her.
"What did you do that would warrant all of us coming here?" Whizzer asked, looking quite amused.
Marvin glared at his amused expression, clearly thinking Jason did something horribly wrong.
"I just asked a simple question," Jason replied innocently, "Then, she just freaked out on me for practically no reason."
Marvin groaned at the vague answer his son gave and glanced towards the lesbians for help, but their facial expressions only conveyed confusion, so they weren't much help to him. The echoing sounds of footsteps on the linoleum floors only served to annoy him more as they neared the classroom. Seriously, how big is this school?
Just as Marvin had thought that, they had arrived at the entryway to the English room.
"So," Marvin started, wasting no time at all, "What could Jason have possibly done that would need all of us here?"
The teacher seemed taken aback at the annoyance in the man's voice and hesitated for a second before replying, "He was shouting out blatant lies in class when I assigned an essay and was causing a general scene."
Jason opened his mouth to add all the details that she had left out, before snapping it shut again at the glare he received from Trina.
"Right, and that needs all of us here because...?" it was Whizzer this time who spoke, prompting the teacher to elaborate.
"Because, apparently, I can't have more than one dad." Jason replied. Sure, leaving out details might make him just as bad as she was, but, really, you can't just be directly unfair towards kids because you refuse to admit when you're wrong.
At that statement, everyone in the room froze, Marvin's annoyed time now becoming more clipped at the implied homophobia.
"Well, if that's it, then I suppose we should all just leave. I think we've heard enough." he stood up to emphasize his point, and the other five adults quickly followed suit. The teacher opened her mouth, perhaps to fix his previous statement, but the damage had been done already.
The following Monday, Jason had already been transferred to a different school, and nobody spoke of that incident again.

Sorry that was kind of awful, I kinda forgot where I was going with this halfway through. Anyway, there you go! If you want to send in prompts that would be appreciated btw.
