CHAPTER 21: Masked Men

"Welcome to the Seoul Phoenix agency. I am Chief Choi, head of the Korean Phoenix agency," Chief Choi said. He was as tall as Namjoon, had visible cheek bones, had dark blue hair and his eyes were the same colour as his blue hair.

"I am agent Bloom and this is my team and BTS" I pause to let everyone introduce themselves. "We are happy to be here." I say after the introductions. "We know all about you. Agent Bloom you and your team are always a hot topic in the Phoenix agencies." He says with a smile. "Uh...I wasn't aware of that" I scratch my head in confusion. Ok now that sounds a little creepy, people gossiping about us? About me?!

"Of course, BTS are also always another hot topic in the agency. Please don't mind the staring. I informed the agents of your arrival and asked them to behave but as you can see they still can't stop staring, even after their chief gave them an order" Chief Choi says, addressing to BTS while rolling his eyes. Chief Choi seemed so chill and easy going. Why can't our chief be like that?

He leads us to second ground floor where I believe the sleeping cabins are. "I'm very sorry for intruding. We should have given a days notice to move in but the circumstances..." Chief Choi interrupts me. "Please Agent Bloom don't flatter me. I'm very glad to open the agency for you. I am aware of the circumstances which makes it even more important for me to open the agency for you all. But phoenix agency is always open for any agent or any phoenix agent so why do you feel the need to thank me? You belong here," he asks me turning his head back a little as he walks forward.

"I just feel bad for giving you such trouble. I heard from Anna that a few agents had to give up their rooms for us to stay in." I ask feeling ashamed. "What?" He looks at me in complete shock. "No agent Bloom. We haven't done anything of such sort. We have plenty of unoccupied rooms for you." He answers me.

I look at him in utter confusion. I remember her sad look as she told me about the rooms being taken away from agents. She lied. What else has she lied to me about? I look around to spot Anna but she wasn't here anymore. "I'll speak with Anna, I think she has fooled around enough" Ethan places a hand on my shoulder and I nod agreeing with him. It's a good thing he's going, if I went it would have ended very badly.

Ethan leaves the group while we follow Chief Choi. He stops infront a double door room. "This is your room BTS," Chief Choi says. Taehyung pushes open one door while Jimin opens the other door. We all walk inside. It was a simple grey coloured room. There was one row of four beds on my right and another row of three beds on my left. No windows were present, obviously we are under ground. All one could expect to see is dirt or pipes. There was a single table at the far, right corner of the room. One tall, single wardrobe and a side table was beside every bed.

"I know it's not what you are used to but I hope these could give you some comfort," Chief Choi carries a vase of multi coloured flowers and places it on one of the side table. He puts up two fingers signaling someone to come in. We look back to see six masked agents holding the same vase chief placed on the table. I notice Jungkook move beside me when the agents enter the room. The masked agents do exactly what Chief did; place a flower vase on every side table. These flowers give a little bit of colour to this dark room and great smell as well. "Thank you. This is very comforting," Namjoon says and shakes Chief Choi's hand. "I'm glad you like it," Chief smiles and looks towards me. "Let's leave them to get settled. Meantime I'll show you your rooms, young agents," he says walking out of the room.

My teammates give an unsure look towards BTS. I guess they feel like not leaving BTS alone as well. I look at each BTS member and notice how tired and lost they looked. I have to talk to them! "Chief can you tell me the direction to my room. I'll check it out myself," I ask him. "Are you sure? I can show you..." I cut him off "Yes, I'm sure" I say quickly. He nods and tells me the direction. I thank him and push my team out and tell them not worry about a thing, I have it under control.
