Chapter 14: New Year's Eve

(Eunbi's POV)

Days had passed and he's still not home

I sighed just by thinking about him not coming home in the time of the year.

"Hey" I felt a tap on my right shoulder,I look up to see Irene smiling.

"What are you doing out here at this hour?" She asked me and sat down next to me.I was currently on the yard drinking with my sprite alone.

"Nothing I just miss him" I said as I think of the time,it's getting dark and I don't know how many hours until New Year because I'm here for about an hour already.

"That sprite of yours is your therapy right?" She asks again and I nodded while she giggled.

"But I bet Yeon Hoon will be your stress reliever once he's back" I unconciously smiled at what she said.

"Anyways you should head inside the girls are waiting for you" She says as she stood up while I agreed following her inside.She's like my lost twin sister,we really do look alike.

Once I went inside I saw there were many people in the house by people I mean Yeonhoon's group of friends and Daehwi's too.

"What are they doing here? I don't remember inviting them" I heard Yena mumbled beside me.I shrugged because the only reason I know is that they are here because they've been following Daehwi's ass everywhere he goes.

"Daehwi is here so what do you expect" I was startled when Eric talked behind me.I slapped him lightly and went to the kitchen to prepare the foods.

"Eunbi let's go outside!" I covered my ears from Sakura's screams.I know the fireworks are more noisy but sometimes her mouth is very very loud.

I went outside then I saw Sehun and Yunho carrying the fireworks near an open space and putting it down on the ground but we far away from them so that less accidents.

"Be careful on that and ran fast after you lit it up!" Eric yelled at them as if they can hear him.

"Why don't you help them idiot?" I almost laughed at Eric's face getting annoyed by Yena's statements.

After Eric got annoyed by Yena he went up to the boys but he was too late the two boys were already lighting up the fireworks.Both Sehun and Yunho ran away from it because it's about to blow up.

"Dudes! Ahhhh!" We all laughed at Eric who's running so scared away from the sparkling chemical and to us.

Eric was holding his chest from panicking now we felt bad about it but he came back to his normal self when the skies light up because of the fireworks from every houses.

"Hey time is almost up! Ten! nine!" Jihoon yelled as he read the countdown.I forgot they are here.

Six,five,four,three,two,one!

"HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!" All of us screamed at the same time and made loud noises while the boys continued lighting the fireworks and some firecrackers.

I looked up to the sky and just enjoyed seeing it getting bright with different fireworks displays.The girls went up to me and hugged me, I gladly hugged them back as we stared at the night sky.

"Let's go inside and eat!" Hyewon broke the hug and I swear she gets hungry all the time.

"Calm your damn stomach Kwangbae" I said and was about to go ahead too but someone stopped me.

"Hey can we talk for a moment?"it was Minhyun, I looked at the girls and they nodded but they didn't went inside yet,they went to Irene who's busy taking pictures of the sky.

"I'm sorry about what happened the other time,I was drunk and I didn't mean it" Minhyun told me directly and scratched his nape but I can smell his breath.He's drunk again.

"Apology accepted but don't ever do that again" I just said it so that he'll leave me alone.

"I just wanna ask,you and Yeon Hoon are not a thing yet?" He suddenly made me wanna leave already because he was asking too much since the last time we talked.

"Not yet" I said coldly I hope he gets my signal that I am not comfortable with him.

"Then you don't mind if I do this now?" He asked me and made me look at him because I was facing my right when he was talking earlier.

The next thing he did made me jumped a bit and I just wanna kill him already.He freaking kissed me on the lips! It was my first kiss.It was short but I still didn't like it.

After it I slapped him real hard now everyone's attention was on us.I know that the surroundings are loud now but I think I made the slap louder.

"Why slap me? You like it didn't you?" He was a jerk before,he apologized already and now he's acting like it again.

"Girls let's go inside" the girls obeyed me and went followed me behind.I can feel their eyes on Minhyun and not me.It's his fault anyways.

When we went inside we were startled at a guy's figure sitting on the couch with it's back facing us.

I looked at the girls but they shrugged.I only remembered that three of Minhyun's friends are with Daehwi then Yunho,Sehun,Irene and Eric are still outside so who is this?

"Maybe it's Jinyoung?" Wonyoung asked but I shook my head.That's impossible Jinyoung was outside.

"Who are you?" I asked as we get closer to the figure but it didn't talked instead he stood up and faced us while smiling.

"Oh Happy New Year girls! Surprised?"
