Chapter 15: Wide Awake

(Eunbi's POV)

"Happy New Year girls! Surprised?" He turned around,we thought that it was someone else but it was just Yeonjun.

'If he's here then probably...' I thought as I came back from my senses when Yeonjun spoke again.

"You thought I was someone else?" he laughed a bit and shook his head while me and the girls are still shocked of his presence.

We didn't even notice that it was him earlier because he was wearing a cap and a dark shirt.

"Aren't you glad that we are back?" I was not confused.By we that means..

"Hey girls" we all turned our heads to where the voice came from.

"Yeon Hoon!!" The girls ran to him and made a group hug while I'm still in daze from my position.I can't believe it he came back

"Yah Eunbi come here you're missing his scent!" I wanna punch Hyewon for exposing me.I am actually missing his scent.

"Really? I know she loves my perfume but I love her more" again I was shocked at what he just said or did I heard it wrong?

The girls cooed at us and I think I am blushing at the moment.I went to them but I don't know if I'm gonna hug him or what.

"Come here" well Yeonhoon just did.He grabbed me and hugged me tight.God I missed this.The girls broke the hug and let us be.

"Why just now?" I asked almost gonna cry but I held it back.I wanted him to know that I love him too but there's always something getting in the way.

"It's okay atleast I'm back" He said and I slightly punch his chest for not coming after how many months.

"Hey hey stop I'm sorry and I promise I'll make it up to you all" He said to us emphasizing the word all.

"I heard Daehwi's friends are here and my friends?" Yeonhoon asked me while I am still in his embrace.

"Yesh they are outside" I couldn't talk properly because I am burrying my face tightly into his body.

"You really miss me that bad?"I heard him chuckled and lets go of me.

"I think you should take a rest or eat first" I told him,he sounds so tired it's either the flight made him sleepy or probably the drive took so long.

"I'm fine you all go ahead and eat I'm gonna unpack my things" He said to us but I shook my head.

"You should do it in the morning" Yujin butted in slightly worried about him.

"But it's already morning duh" Minju says making a face to Yujin,I just laughed at them.

"No I'm okay I already took a rest in the car with Yeonjun so I'll stay up until those guys goes home" Yeonhoon explained and walked away from us.Well that was weird did he change or he is just tired?

(3rd Person's POV)

Yeonhoon walked away from the girls leaving them confused about his sudden actions towards them.Eunbi thought that maybe he was just tired.

Yeonhoon knows they're not gonna celebrate without him but he was too active to join the others and his brain won't cooperate.Yeonhoon was going to say he'd love to stay with them and eat but he also thought that he'll just get mad at something he doesn't want to know.

"You thought I didn't see it? How my eyes are glued to you?"
The latter said inside his mind while unpacking his stuffs in his own room.

"How I saw your lips on another man's?" He was already overthinking about it.

"Is this my punishment for not coming back as soon as possible?" He stopped for a second,he closed the door and sat down on his bed.

"Why am I even acting like this? We're not a couple but we are together so why am I afraid to tell you how I felt?" right now he was battling with his mind.

Yeonhoon couldn't just accept the fact that he saw Eunbi with another guy kissing under the light of the skies.

To Minhyun it was romantic but to Yeonhoon it ticked him off.He doesn't like it and as his pride was taking over him.Yeonhoon wanted to punch the guy but he had enough for the day.

He was tired from taking care of his dad's company,for working all day all night.The girls didn't know about this so he hid it like a secretYeonhoon doesn't even want them to get worried anymore.

"I'm tired but I can't even sleep! I lied that I slept already the truth is I was depressed from the past few months and insomnia was hitting me everynight" Yeonhoon was raging from the inside but on the outside he was just talking with his mind in a calm manner.

"Where do I take part in her heart when someone else is beside her?" He sighed asking his self.

There was something wrong with him that his pride is starting to rule over him.

He just doesn't want another man taking over what's his.They all know that they are not yet a couple but deep inside the girls knows that Eunbi is only his property and no one else's.

For now Yeonhoon will just comfort his self and think about what he saw without getting upset because it might ruin them.
