She reached the office by a taxi. Mr. Chen asked her to come to the office as soon as possible by saying that he finally found a work suitable for her. She finally felt she was going to get a work where she could prove herself in the field she loved. As she was walking to his cabin she could faintly hear the sound of the live news from the large TVs in her office.

"This news has left the whole country in shock. Many VIPs from around the world arrived at seoul to pay their last resp..." she couldnt hear any more as she was in front of his cabin.

"KNOCK KNOCK"

"Come in"

She entered with a vibrant smile, happiness gleaming from her face.

"So miss yoon, I am going to send you for investigating a case, a very important, hot case"

"Investigate?" She frowned to which her superior nodded.

"Do you know Mr Kim Taemin??"

"no" she shook her head unaware of even the name. Tae..min? Unfortunately there was no image that was ringing bells in her head.

"you dont know??" He confirmed shocked, she shook her head cluelessly.

"ok, do you know the KIMs company atleast??"

"Ah yes" her eyes widened as a glimpse of the company's building flashed in her brain.

"So the owner of that company is Mr kim"

"Kim taehyung's father?" She asked reminiscing the news she had seen that day and not to forget the little chat with friends.

"yes" Chan sighed looking thankful.

"so what is with him??"

"He died"

She gasped hard cupping her mouth,

"What?! Kim Taehyung died? He looked all well in the pho-"

"Not him you idiot! His dad!!"

O..oooo his dad, not him.

"He was been murdered. So I want you to investigate how he died simultaneously with the police"

" but isnt the CBI there for this" she slowly let her thoughts out but regreted it later on when she saw the scowl on his face. He got up from his seat,

" Hear me out yoon, you investigate and keep reporting us with proofs even before the police does to other channels we can put it first on our channel and if we do this our TRP ratings will go high. As you know there is only little difference between the ratings of ours and Sakura channel, if you complete this case successfully we will be first"

He walked to her "this is your last opportunity yoon and you have no way but to do this"

" but i dont even know him" She looked at him worried.

"thats why you're joining as an employee in that company from tomorrow. You have to keep this as a secret, no one there should know about this especially kim taehyung." He warned with his eyes looking extra bubble like because of his spectacles that fell on his nose bridge.

"Act well and good luck" he patted her shoulder and went out leaving her to contemplate.

Drowning herself in confusion she went to her cabin and sat in her seat,

" should I do this? " she slowly asked herself. But it was not her choice to make cause it just had one option and that was yes. She had no way other than doing it. This was her last opportunity, if she declined she was sure she would get fired knowing how Mr. Chen never had a liking towards her since the start.

" did u know that yoon is going to be on that's kim's case??" she heard one of her co-worker speak.

"thats the only thing they can ask her to do I mean she cant be a news reporter cause do you remember how she stuttered to say the introduction line and she cant be a host, did you see her face" after what the other said they started giggling. 

'Am I really a waste?? whatever it is seoyoon never give a damn to them' she thought as she balled her fist. 

" do you know the ceo the looks so damn hot??'' the co worker spoke receiving attention from yoon " but he is so damn strict."

' ya i know he looks hot. but he is strict?? oh god pls make my day go good tomorrow'
