Uchiha Coup d'etat

"I need you to keep Sasuke away from the Uchiha grounds until I say"

Those words kept repeating in my head over and over again. Itachi made a deal with the hokage, a deal that will spare his younger brothers life how funny when you compare Itachi and Sasuke to Kakashi and I - we're nothing alike. Those two actually care for each other I wish I knew how that felt.

I stood and stared at the academy below from the tree I was perched on, to think I'd be back in this village at this precise moment. I couldn't help but chuckle to myself, fate really is weird.

"I better be careful to not be seen"

Itachi had informed my brother and the hokage that I escaped and made my way north nevertheless the Anbu were still on high alert. Say what you like about them be that they are useless and weak - their also incredibly efficient I must commend them on that.

Just then the academy doors swung open and one by one these small creatures know as children started scampering out each running towards a parent. I scanned the group of creatures looking for the raven haired boy.

"Itachi did say Sasuke was usually the last one out"

A few minutes had passed everyone had left and finally he emerged, looking at him so young and full of life reminded me a little of myself at his age - knowing that after tonight his life will never be the same brought that grim feeling back. This young boys life will be ruined all because of this dammed village.

Despite my protests that I would do Itachi's mission for him he persisted that he needed to do this and when I seen the look in his eyes, I knew there was no persuading him - I've got to make the best out of babysitting mini Itachi then.

I watch on as he looks around for Itachi but after discovering his brother isn't here to take him home like he usually does he started to make his way towards the gates. I dropped down without making a noise just as Sasuke was about to start running home.

"Excuse me!"

He turned as soon as he heard my voice, I could sense he was taken off guard.

"Oh it's okay, sorry for scaring you"

I laughed sheepishly and reached my hand out to shake his.

"My names Yuki Hatake, I'm a friend of your brothers"

At my words he seemed to relax, he shook my hand and introduced himself.

"Oh your THE Yuki my brother talks about - I'm Sasuke Uchiha"

His words left me a little speechless "he talks about me" I feel my face reddening and I start to lose myself in my thoughts until Sasuke starts talking.

"Why's your face all red - are you sick"

I'm not cut out to deal with children couldn't I have at least got to kill a bird or something.

"I'm fine, anyway I'm here because your brother wants me to look after you until he gets back from an emergency mission"

I could tell from his expression that he's disappointed his brother wasn't here and was instead on a mission.

"I know it's not fair that you don't get to spend time with your brother anymore because he's always busy on missions, trust me it's the same with my brother and me"

He gave me a weakly smile as a response, then asked me a question.

"Didn't you go missing, how are you back?"
