"So what does Crowley want with you, anyway?" Sam asked as they all pulled up to the bunker.
"I don't know. He never said. But I think he was coming on to me or something." K replied.
"What?" Dean asked confused. "That's not Crowley's style."
"I don't know. I just don't wanna go back."
"No one wants to go to Hell. At least you got out easy." Sam said quietly as everyone got out and went inside.
K sat down at the table and watched as both boys went into the kitchen. She heard whispering but could only make out a few words from Dean like "can't stay", "so what" and "not happening". He sounded angry. K wondered if they were talking about her. She felt like such a bother after being involved in all this. She decided she wouldn't let them fight about her. She quickly and quietly left the bunker, even though as she was shutting the loud metal door she could hear Sam calling after her. She didn't care. She ran. She didn't know where she was going but she was leaving.
After what seemed like hours she came across a restaurant. She fumbled around in her pocket and pulled out enough cash to grab a bite to eat. She went in and ordered only a side of French fries. She didn't have much of an appetite but she ate to keep her energy up. She couldn't help but to think about the Winchesters. Especially Dean. He had saved her life and she returned the favor. Why didn't he want her to stick around and at least get to know her? Sam was a friend from the start. But Dean didn't care. With him it was like trying to bust open a coconut with a plastic spoon.
"This seat taken?" K's thoughts were interrupted by a familiar voice.
She looked up to see Sam looking at her with a smile on his face.
"No." She replied simply, taking a bite of a fry.
Sam sat down and ran a hand through his hair. "You didn't have to leave K we have an extra room you can stay in until we figure this out."
"It sounded like Dean doesn't want me around." She rolled her eyes and looked at her lap.
"Dean is a little Ricky from the start but he will come around, I promise. You don't need to be out alone while under every demon's radar. It's dangerous and we can't protect you if you aren't close to us." He said comfortingly.
K scoffed. "You two can barely protect yourselves apparently. I don't need babysitters, Sam. I can do fine on my own. I have before I met you, and I can now."
Sam sighed. "At least take my number. If anything happens and I mean anything, please call me. I don't care what time of the night it is or even if you can't sleep. Just call me. Okay?" He asked, holding a card out.
"Okay. Thanks Sam." She said before leaving a tip and sliding out of the booth.
"Wait K do you need a ride anywhere? Back home?" He asked.
"Sure. That'd be nice." She smiled.

The ride to K's house was long and quiet. No one said anything and the only thing breaking the silence was the low rock music on the radio. As Sam pulled into K's drive, she gave him a hug before getting out.
"Thanks again Sam. Drive safe."
He only nodded and K shut the door. She went inside and locked the door behind her. She sighed and went to her room and got into bed, exhausted. She thought about what Sam had said, about calling even if she just needed to talk.
But little did she know, she wouldnt talk to the Winchesters for 6 months.
