K went through everything she had and found the perfect outfit. It was a very beautiful high low dress that she had bought a few years ago. She hadn't felt the prettiest back then so she bought it to make herself feel better. This would be the first time she actually wore it somewhere. It was royal blue, mostly lace and still complimented her figure just right. She put on some white heels and white pearl dangle earrings to finish the look. Hopefully Dean liked the look as much as she did. She went to the bathroom and did one more once-over. She thought for a second and quickly put her hair into a simple updo, just so it wouldn't be in her face. She was finally satisfied with her look. She heard a faint knock on the door.
"Come in." She called.
"Hey just letting you know Dean's rea- Woah! You look amazing." Sam told her as he walked in the room.
"You think so?" She asked smiling.
"Hell yeah. Don't have don't too much fun." Sam said laughing.
Sam escorted K out of her room and lead her to the main room, where Dean was waiting. He had his back turned and was talking to Cas. Cas noticed her and he cleared his throat. Dean stopped talking and turned around. When his met K, it was like time itself stood still. K put on a nervous smile and watched Dean take in the view in front of him. He eyes her up and down and back up again.
Cas patted Dean on the back and it snapped Dean out of his potentially bad thoughts. Dean cleared his throat and walked up to K. Sam and Cas left the room to give them some privacy.
"You look beautiful, K." Dean told her.
K blushed and looked away sheepishly. "Thank you Dean. You look very nice as well."
He was wearing a black, nicely kept tuxedo.
"Thanks. Ready to go?" He asked.
"Whenever you are." She replied.

K looked around at the full restaurant in front of them. It was a very nice place and K couldn't help but to feel out of place. She had never been to this nice of a restaurant before, even going out with Arthur.
"So what do you want to talk about?" She asked nervously. They hadn't ordered yet and it was quite busy so she knew it was gonna be a minute before the waitress came anyway.
"Well the whole reason for this night out was to get to know you a little better. For you to know me a little better." Dean told her. "Do you have any family?" Was his first question.
K shifted uneasily in her chair.
Dean noticed too. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to offend you." He said rather quickly.
"No it's ok. They're alive if that's what you meant." K replied. "My parents are living their best life in Paris. I don't have any aunts, uncle's, brothers, or sister. They didn't want kids so I was basically an accident. When I was old enough to fend for myself, they left. We never had the best relationship so it doesn't upset me much. Im better off on my own."
She shrugged her shoulders with her last sentence.
"What about you? Any other family besides Sam?" She asked.
"Well my mom's alive but she hasn't always been." He told her quietly.
K was confused. "Huh? I don't understand."
"Well she died when I was young. Sammy was just a baby at the time. Long story short a yellow eyes demon killed her and my dad died trying to avenge her. Here it is 35 years later and she's alive and well. A very powerful friend of ours brought her back 2 years ago. Favor for a favor. She does her own thing. Hunting and making some badass pies."
"I'm sorry you lost so much time with her. But it's a good thing you three can reconnect and start somewhere, at the least." K told him with a sincere smile. Dean smiled and held her hand across the table. They were staring into each other's eyes when the waitress came to their table. Neither one of them ordered food, only beers. They spent the next two hours laughing, telling jokes, telling stories, and having a good time. K never wanted the night to end and she only hoped Dean felt the same way.

They left the restaurant hand in hand, laughing as they got outside. Dean spun K around gently and leaned her against the Impala.
"I had a lot of fun. I honestly don't remember when the last time I had this much fun. You make me happy, K." Dean told her.
K's dazzling smile grew bigger after hearing those words.
"Thank you, Dean. I had fun, too. Thank you for the most amazing day of my life." She stood on her tip toes and kissed his cheek softly.

"Funny thing is, she used to tell me the same thing." A gruff, familiar voice said behind them.
Dean and K turned around and saw none other than Arthur. K's abusive ex.
"What do you want Arthur? Didn't learn your lesson last time?" Dean spat at him.
"Nice to see you again, too. You got lucky last time. I was drunk. Now I'm here to take back what belongs to me. Come on, Katherine. You know you miss me." He said with a sarcastic tone.
"I'm done with you, Arthur. I don't want you. I've had enough of your drunk antics." K told him. She wanted to stand her ground but Dean stood protectively in front of her.
"Aw you don't mean that, babe. Come on. One more time for the memory book?" He laughed.
"If you touch her, so help me I will shoot you, Arthur. And that's a promise. She's mine now and you are nothing but dirt compared to her." Dean told him.
"I'm not leaving empty handed." He said walking forward. K stepped back a few feet and Dean looked at her. When he turned back to Arthur he quickly pulled out his pistol in the process. Arthur stopped in his tracks and held his hands up.
"Whats the matter Dean? Do you feel powerful behind that gun? Cause it makes you look weak. You don't want her. From what I hear you have lots of luck with the ladies. Even that one from yesterday while K was gone." He smirked. K gasped and looked at Dean.  He was with another woman? While she was being taken hostage by a werewolf? How could he?
"Oh you didn't know?" Arthur let out a hearty laugh. "Hell Dean doesn't sound too different from me!"
"Shut up asshole we're nothing alike!" Dean shouted back. He turned to K to see tears flowing down her cheeks.
"How could you, Dean?" She asked quietly. Dean lowered his gun and stuck it in the back of his pants. Arthur lowered his hands and watched the scene in front of him unfold.
"K I'm so sorry. It was before we knew you were gone." He said stepping closer to her.
"Don't touch me, Dean!" She shouted at him. "I believed you! I thought you were different than Arthur but you're not." She wiped her tears and sobbed into her hands.
"Come on, K I'll take you home." Arthur told her.
"You aren't taking me anywhere!" She shouted at him. "Im not going anywhere with either of you. For all I care you can just kill each other." She folded are arms across her chest and walked past both Dean and Arthur.
They watched as she walked away.
"Where are you going?" Dean called after her. She stopped and turned back around to face him. She walked up to him and pointed a finger in his face.
"Somewhere that you won't be allowed to follow, so don't even try." She stared at him for a moment before she saw a tear start to form in Dean's eye. She turned away once again and started walking down the street.

After a while of walking she figured she was far enough away from Dean. She went into a coffee shop and headed straight to the bathroom. She had made up her mind. She was going to be with the only man that had kept his promises and showed her any type of love.
"Crowley. I'm ready." And that was all she had to say for the Scottish man to appear. He was there in the blink of an eye with outstretched arms.

"I've been waiting for your call, my dear."
