Letty's POV
I hadn't talked to Dom in a week. He had tried to call me multiple times, but I was already outside the house when he woke up and I snuck in after midnight after he went to sleep.
I knew what he said was out of jealousy and he didn't mean it, but still, I never thought he hurt me like that. Especially when there was no reason for his sudden outburst.
"Letty," the deep voice startled me. "Please talk to me," his husky voice said as he reached out for my hand.
"I'm so sorry for what I said. You know I didn't mean any word I said. I was drunk out of my mind. And I'm sorry."
"I know," I answer, not looking at him. I knew that as soon as I looked into his eyes I would forget everything else. Since I was ten his brown eyes had had that effect on me. He lifted my chin up with his fingers staring at me. He leant down to kiss me, but I pushed him away before our lips could meet.
"Don't Dom," I warned him, walking away.

"Letty, what's going on?" Mia said as she saw me leaning against the wall, listening to the conversation going on.
"Mr. T and Dom are arguing."
"And you're listening?"
"They're talking about me," I argued. She nodded in agreement and pushed her ear against the wall, which luckily wasn't soundproof.
I tried to decode the voices in the other room, the deep voice of Dom making it easy to recognise him:
Dom: Dad, I apologised to her
Mr.T: That doesn't make up for anything you said. I cannot believe she forgave you.
Dom: She's a strong girl she can handle a punch
Mr. T: It's not about what she can or cannot handle. This is about you turning your back on family. Letty and Mia have been friends forever. She is like a daughter to me. You and her have gotten along perfectly. She is a huge part of our family. And I don't care if she forgave you, because I sure as hell haven't, Dom. I am really disappointed in you.
Dom: Dad, I never meant to hurt, Letty. You know I care about her. She's family. I know.
Mr.T: Because you treated her like the girls you pick up on the street. The ones you- Tell me you haven't slept with her. Please, tell me.
Mia and I both gasped at the turn of events, unaware of what was going to happen next. A long pause followed the question.
Mr.T: Dominic, I am going to ask you some questions and I want you to be totally honest with me. Have you slept with Letty?
Dom: Yes (whisper)
Mr.T: Do you love her?
Dom: No (whisper)
Mr.T: Are you planning on loving her?
Dom: No (whisper)
I felt a stinging in my heart as I heard all I had to hear. I had always known that Dom wasn't into serious relationships, but somewhere I think I had always hoped that I would mean more to him. That I would be different. Mia took my hand and squeezed it gently, consoling me.
Mr. T: This is not how I raised you, Dominic. It's bad enough when you do it to other girls. But Letty?
Mr. Toretto's voice broke, obviously hurt by Dom's actions. I think he was more disappointed than I was.
Dom: Dad. Letty was aware of the fact that I -
Mr. T: Don't you dare put the blame on her.
I had never heard Mr. Toretto raising his voice. Especially not towards his children whom he was so proud of.
