6 months later:

"Vanessa, where are you?" Will called out as I was in the closet searching for something to wear for an event we are invited to. We were supposed to be dressed like we were going for prom for some reason and the theme was "Prom".

Will and I were asked by our parents to take part in it so that our "Bond" would become strong and that everyone will know that we were madly in love. Will and I have become very close friends and I didn't mind faking like I loved and cared for him because it was true. I did fall in love with him and I care for him too.

"In the closet," I say and he comes into my closet.

"Vans, we have to be there in an hour or so and you aren't even ready?" he says looking at me as I am still in my robe.

"I know, help me," I say pointing to a whole section of dresses appropriate for this event.

He pulls out a pink tulle long dress. I look at it and I liked it.

"Wear this, this is perfect," he says as he helps me zip the dress. I straightened my hair and parted in the centre. I wore ear rings, my rings and the bracelets Will gave me.

I did my make-up and we were ready to go. We reached our destination and I look around. It seriously did look like prom for some reason.

"Ladies and Gentleman, welcome to this event called Prom. We have organised this event so that the best and compatible couple among us can be identified and we will be making a business deal with them which is worth few 100 million," Some guy says and everyone looks at him. He was Hugh Andrews, the owner of the company Waves and they were amazing.

"So we have few rounds but not all of them will be today. Whoever does well, they will be qualified for the next. There will last 3 couple left at the end. One of them will be chosen as the winner by all us by voting for them and they will have our partnership. Let's get this started," he says and I looked at Will and we smiled we have become good friends and I am happy with it. If Will doesn't know this, I have started to fall for him.

Couple who wanted to participate went forward and registered their names. Almost everyone were there, I think there were 3o couple including us were standing there including George and Amanda. Well they claim to be dating but I think that they are trying to make us jealous.

"First round is a dance off," he says and I jumped. I love dancing and Will knew. We were informed a week ago that we will be having a dance round so that everyone could prepare for it. We have prepared for it and well I am sure that we will do well. We were the last ones to go and everyone did ok I guess.

We decided to show our story well- strangers, sadness, falling in love and the in love. Well last 2 might be false for him but it was true for me.

We end and everyone cheered. Will was surprisingly flexible and it was easy for him to lift me.

"We have our top 23. Please step forward if your name is called, if it's not we are very sorry you have been eliminated," Hugh says and the tension was building in the room.

"Jacksons, Gills, Ricks, Quebecs, congratulations you guys are still in the game," he says and everyone claps for them. He went on and on and our name wasn't announced.

"Last 2 contestants who are safe are- George Hampher and Amanda Wilkins," he says and they jump up and down. I hold Will's hand and he squeezes it.

".....And one of my favourites Vanessa Beckett Gifford and William Gifford," he says and I was so excited.

"I am sorry for the rest of you. We will send you a notice about when our next round will be and you can come then. Also remember, you are even judged in your daily lives too. Enjoy your night," he says and the music plays.

"I am so happy that we are selected for the next round," I say as Will and I grab something to drink.

"Same," he says and we smile.

"May I have this dance with you Miss?" someone asked and we both turn around to see George grinning at us. It would be rude to say no so I agreed.

"You looked so hot when you were dancing. It should have been with me but well you looked good," he says and I look away.

"I am with Will," I say and he chuckles and pulls me closer.

"You and I both know that it's fake," he says and I felt weird standing next to him.

"No, you think its fake," I say trying to get away but unless I get asked by someone else to dance, I can't.

"Excuse me. Can I have this dance with my wife?" Will asked coming closer and pulled me away from George.

"Thank you for saving me from him," I say as I rest my head on his chest. His body stiffened by my touch but he relaxed later on.

"Today was amazing and you are a great dancer Nessie," he says and I blush. He called me Nessie for the first time and I liked it.

"You were amazing too and how easily did you lift me," I say thinking about our dance.

"That's because I am very strong and you are very light too," he whispers and I silently laugh.

"I have never danced in my life you know," he said and I looked up.

"I am here for making you do things you have never done Gifford," I say dramatically and he laughs.

"And I am down too Gifford," he says and I am shocked. Did he just accept me as his wife by calling me a Gifford too? Anyways that makes me beyond happy right now.
