RAQUEL POV

"You want some milk?" I asked Lex, as he ate peas and carrots.

He nodded, wiping his face with his napkin.

I brought him the milk in his sippy cup as we ate veggies together on the counter.

"Tank you attie!"

I giggled at his slightly broken speech.

"Why you laugh at me?" He questioned, as he ate another pea.

"You're just funny. But I'm sorry, Xander."

"Dander?" He asked, turning his head while sipping milk.

"Yeah, that's your name."

"No, it Noah, Leck, papa!" He said, crossing his arms.

"Lex?"

"Yes!" He said, uncrossing his arms and clapping.

"That's what we did when you walked, we clapped for you. Do you remember that?"

He turned his face up, "No. I don member."

I took my phone out and showed him the video.

He watched closely and looked up at me smiling.

"That me?"

"Yes, Xan-Lex." I saved myself.

"Noooo attie, not Dan-Leck. It just Leck!"

"Sorry, Leck." I said, making the 'ck' clear, knowing it would make him mad. I know he's trying to say Lex but it's just funny how he still can't make certain sounds.

"No attie! It Leck!"

"Leck." I said, repeating what I did before.

"No, Leck!"

"Leck? Or Lex?"

"There! Leck." He said, seeming relieved.

"Lex."

"Yes, attie!"

"Well, my bad. You're saying Leck."

"No I not! I say Leck, like you!"

"Sure." I said, replaying the video for him to see again.

"I did good job!"

"Yes you did, Lex."

"Where I put my pate?"

"In the sink."

He pushed it into the sink and stretched his arms out, asking for help off of the counter as I walked over to him.

"We're gonna go back to sleep now, okay, stink?"

He nodded and yawned, as I checked the time;
