*Halima's POV*

We had messed up. Badly. Harrison and I stared at each other, unable to move. The look on Olive's face was stuck in my mind, like a tattoo etched on skin. Even though Olive had spent the entire evening with Tom, I knew it was wrong of me to kiss Harrison. While in bed, I still couldn't stop thinking about it. Harrison was sleeping on a lousy mattress on the floor, since we didn't want to make things worse than they already were.

I woke up and stretched my sleepy body, as something caught my eye. Harrison. He was unbelievably beautiful... his crooked smile, his attractive voice, his sharp jawline, and the way his perfect blue eyes would become slightly turquoise when the sun hit them. It seemed as though I had been struck. Love struck. Stupid cupid. A moment later I heard laughter. I let Haz sleep and got dressed, so I could join the others downstairs. It was nerve-wracking to walk down the stairs, which I did slowly. I constantly contemplated whether this was a good idea or not. As I had reached the foot of the stairs, the smell of pancakes shrouded me. That meant Astrid was in a wonderful mood.

*Tom's POV*

Halima strolled over to Olive and stopped in front of her. Her lips trembled and she opened her mouth, but not a single sound came out. Olive hugged her and whispered something in her ear, which I couldn't quite make out. Halima looked exhausted and sat down beside Olive. Olive put food on a plate for her and put an arm around her shoulders. As Halima slowly dug in, we gave her a short resume of our plans for the day. Despite her sad smile, she seemed happy with the plans.

Harrison and Halima clearly wanted each other, which gave me a ridiculous hope that I'd have a chance with Olive. She was way too good for me. Way too good. Perhaps, I was too eager? I couldn't possibly manage to pull someone like Olive, or could I?

As we were cleaning up after breakfast, I pulled Sam aside.

"What?" he huffed and gazed around the room. Probably looking for Astrid.

"You slept with Astrid last night," I stated and awaited his reaction. His entire face went from pale to as red as a tomato. He started fidgeting with his fingers and he looked defeated.

"N-no, I didn't sleep with her. We only slept in the same bed," Sam stuttered and avoided eye-contact. "We may have kissed and such... but we didn't do it."

It looked like he was about to explode, which was incredibly hilarious. I loved teasing my younger brothers and Sam had always been the most entertaining one to tease. I nodded and opened my mouth to ask further questions, but he cut me off, "Tom, I think I like her... a lot," he took a step closer to me and stared me down, "it's freaking me out."

"I like you too," a soft voiced echoed through the living room. Both of our heads snapped to the direction of the voice. Astrid. Her cheeks were covered in a pink tint, and she looked up at Sam through her eyelashes.

"Are you guys a thing or-?" Olive blurted out from behind Astrid. Astrid and Sam locked eyes and went to stand in front of each other. "I guess so," they answered in sync. Olive's gaze caught mine and we giggled. Suddenly the moment is ruined by heavy footsteps on the stairs. Harrison.

He instantly sought out Olive to apologise, but she dismissed it in a calm tone and say they'd talk later. I was baffled. How was she so calm when she had been so overwhelmed last night?

*Olive's POV*

The guys told Harrison the plans for the day and after he'd eaten, we left. We drove to a massive mall in the heart of Venice. It was beautiful, both inside and outside. Just wow. The girls and I went on a shopping spree and bought, what felt like, the entire mall. The boys, on the other hand, ate enough ice cream for a party of 20 people. Apparently, they preferred ice cream over cute summer dresses. Which I usually would agree with back in England, but not in Italy!

When we went home, Tom and I bought groceries, so we could make burgers for dinner. They turned out to be absolutely scrumptious. As the evening passed by, I knew the time was coming. The moment where I'd have to address the elephant in the room. Yesterday's actions. Yay.
"Olive... you're incredibly beautiful and amazing, though I seem to have fallen in love with Halima, "Harrison studied me as he spoke, "I'm so sorry."

He's actually in love with her? I was flabbergasted and it felt like my jaw hit the floor. A happy feeling did wash over me, as I saw Halima's gorgeous hazel eyes light up. Nonetheless, it had been like two days... You can't possibly love someone after two days, can you?

"You're in love with me? You... you love me?" Halima took a step closer to Haz and looked fragile. "I was so afraid you'd only see me as a hook up," Haz brushed a strand of hair behind her ear. "Harrison, I love you too."

I was baffled and stood completely still as they kissed. Great. It was incredibly cute, and I was ecstatic on their behalf, yet people kissing in front of me always made me cringe a bit. When they stopped snogging... I happily chirped in, "I'm happy for you and don't be sorry. I've found myself captivated by Tom..."

"Really? God, you have no idea how relieving that was to hear," Tom was standing behind me with a smile spread across his handsome face, "I was afraid I might've been a distraction from Haz."

"What?" I raised myeyebrows, "I would never do that to anyone. Besides, you caught my eyeinstantly. So Haz preferring Halima is quite a relief for me," I chucklednervously and rubbed the back of my neck. This was an incredibly odd experience, but it didn't faze me. His eyes softened and his muscular arms wrapped aroundmy waist. I felt my heartbeat rise as he leaned in, but suddenly he froze.
