Chapter 2

Sakura then packed up everything she owned into cardboard boxes and stuffed them in the attic where her and her mom lived and left for "college". Sakura didnt tell her mom where she was going but instead told her that she was going off to study abroad. Her mother was ecstatic telling Sakura of how she always wished the best of education for her daughter. Sakura knew her mother always wanted the best for her and would support her in almost any situation that required a choice but Sakura knew her mother would refuse if she knew that Sakura was going to find the beast so that she could hire the beast to kill men all for the sake her mom's health and well being. That's why Sakura hid it from her mom the woman she loved and cared for the one who made sure she was warm and wasn't starving despite not having money after her father left. But together they worked through the challenges grew strong and her mom worked for an insurance agency day and night while Sakura was refused by her mom to work.
"Sweety you need to study and get good grades so that you could get an even better job that could triple the pay. And besides I don't need help I am doing just fine." Sakura always doubted that statement but still followed her mothers instructions not wanting to disappointing her only family member. This time was different though Sakura wasnt just going to sit around and watch as her mother slowly died. So Sakura worked extra hard to gain money for her journey while also studing hard and getting top grades. By the end of her senior high school year Sakura had earned the money she needed to survive through her journey and also got the top grades of all her classes. Miss Nanase was ecstatic at her daughters success her daughter was able to achieve a goal that she was unable to having always been weak due to her illness that took away her energy. Miss Nanase was even more proud when her daughter told her she was going to college. She was disappointed at the news of the college being far away but she was still proud. The thing was Miss Nanase was scared she knew that her illness was getting worse and was quite positive that Sakura her beloved daughter knew as well. She probably found out when she went or her monthly checkups and the topic was silently brought up. But all in all Miss Nanase was glad. She helped her daughter pack up all her belongings and leave the house leaving her all alone. She wasn't sad though. She went on leading her life like normal living a quiet life that some would die for but to Miss Nanase it wasnt what she wanted she wished to have her daughter nearby so she could talk and discuss life problems with so she could make sure that she was eating correctly and was happy. But she still wanted the best and only the best for her daughter. So Sakura left for help so that one day the two of them could live a great happy life together without worry for ine anothers happiness and well being. But actions had to be taken in krder to gain this which lead to this. When Sakura first left her home ajd life behind everything went well she flew to the outskirts of Talzem city where the beast supposedly lived and got through the border without struggle. Actuall the border didn't really exist just a barb wired fence with a toll cutting off the road. The woman who checjed her paperwork didn't even seem to care and also seemed a little drunk and smelt like it. But Sakura got through either way she said goodbye to her friend who drove her to the border and made her way into Talzem. Talzem was exactly like how it was described sandy gross scary and dangerous. The first few steps into the city were difficult and made her want to trun around and back to her nice safe home where her mother her favorite person was probably reading a book without any worry was. The city was dangerous but when Sakurabwalked the streets and by the street benders and citizens buying the food everything seemed in place like everyone was comfortable with the way their life worked. And Sakura would even later learn about the nicer people who inhabited the streets and shops just trying to live a less stressful life then one the city brought upon. And Sakura was content until.
"Hey Hey Hey Little Lady your looking one hell of a woman."
At that moment Sakura took back every nice thing that she said about Talzem
