Chapter 10

That night at exactly seven p.m. Ash and Sakura left the apartment and to the shed in the back. It took around thirty minuets for Ash to find a suitable gun and the right amount of ammunition. Then they left and began walking to the East post where they lived right on the border of the normal city and the South post. It would take a while if they decided to walk all the way but Ash had mentioned borrowing a car. They continued to walk in silence Ash taking the lead. Sakura watched Ash's back as she walked, her maroon trench coat flowing in the wind and her hair bouncing with every step. To break the silence Ash began to hum, a very soft melody, most likely an older song and for some reason Sakura thought that she had heard it before. Then she began to quietly sing, and Sakura finally knew the tune.

"Come with me

And you'll be

In a world of pure imagination"

Sakura then began to sing along quietly not wanting to interrupt or hear her voice over Ash's since Ash sang beautifully.

They still continued to sing Ash began to skip while she did alowing her hair to whip back and forth, a smile growing on her face.

Ash began to sing more quietly as the song progressed and began to end.

To compare with pure imagination

Ash sighed.

"I love that song, it always gave me hope that someday someone would be able to take me to a place of imagination and color."

Sakura noticed the sadness in her words but decided not to dwell on it. They kept on walking until they reached the family armory where they all talked for a few minuets and were wished the best of luck, then they ran into Roy and Kuroo, then once again they were wished well. At the back of the armory the car was parked the car was an old tan Chevy pickup. Ash loaded her gun into the back along with every other thing she carried and covered it with tarp then tied it down. Ash climbed into the front seat and turned the car on and Sakura climbed in afterwords. Sakura looked at Ash wondering.

"Do you have your drivers license?"

Ash looked at Sakura and smirked.

"Nope."

"But-"

"Eh Eh I have driven a car before and I did okay for the most part, it did have a few dents in it from the man who was taking to long to cross the street but whatever that was his fault!"

Sakura was now regretting her decision of entering the car and was now contemplating how long it would take to walk.

"Hey listen I will drive safely, following all the necessary precautions and regulations to don't worry."

Sakura visibly relaxed at that.

"Just kidding when you live in this town their ain't any rules."

Sakura began to freak and had her hand on the door ready to leave when Ash quickly drove off at an alarming speed down the sand path laughing and smiling while the dust and wind whipped her hair, and Sakura wouldn't admit it but she wet her pants.

The drive didn't take very long and soon enough they had arrived at a resteraunt only a few minuets from the warehouse that they would hide in. Sakura exited the car with shaky legs and Ash just jumped out placed her hands on her hips and breathed in the salty air.

"Ah what a relaxing smell don'tchya think?"

Sakura glared at Ash with all the strength that she could muster then they headed off.

They climbed up the roof of the warehouse which took two large ladders nailed together by Ash who claimed that they were perfectly safe, only would she regret it when it fell apart when she had finally reach three fourths the way up. But after some more duct tape and nails, they both made their way up safely and unharmed for the most part. When they finally made it up Ash set her sniper rifle by one of the sun windows at the top the looked  down on the warehouse and had a clear view of everything going on. The guards had already arrived along with mister News, but not mister Williams who was still coming. Ash and Sakura to pass time played Go Fish which ended with Sakura wining each round and Ash claiming that she had definitely cheated.

When mister Williams arrived Ash tensed up and got into her position to watch along with Sakura.

"Do you have the cargo I ordered?"

"Yes, its on the boat like you asked."

"Good, Now Start Unloading!"

All the goons began filing out of the warehouse and to the boat and began unloading like ordered. This kept on going until Ash loaded her gun.

"Is it time?"

"Yup"

Sakura nodded and silenced noticing that Ash had began to concentrate on the task in front of her. Ash scoped out the boat then she signed for Sakura to put on her head muffs and Sakura complied then watched as she counted her fingers down from three.

'One'

'Two'

'Three'

'BOOM!!'

The ship exploded and all the men frantically rushed out with Mister News who began to freak out at what had happened. 

'Bang'

Another shot rang out and mister News dropped down dead, then Mister Williams rushed out to asses the damage his blood obviously was boiling. Ash was just about to ring the final shot but then.

"Hey You!!"

Sakura freaked and was pretty sure that her heart stopped beating. But You?! Sakura looked to Ash who smirked then looked to Ash and quickly signed for her to stay put and be quiet, but Sakura already knew that she was too scared to make a noise. Ash then jumped down from the window and to the railing right below, as every gun in the room pointed to her and a bunch of the goons ran towards her to apprehend her. Ash let them search her, taking off her coat and allowing them to remove her side straps and search her boots and pants. They then tied her hands and thrust her down on her knees in front of Mister Williams who smirked down at her, like a cat at the mouse he just cornered. Ash smirked back and his smiled fell and her kicked her in the face, she spit out blood and glared at him her red eyes boring into his head.

"So are you the rat who destroyed my cargo?"

"Yessirie!"

Ash had a dopey grin on her face one the was made to mock the man above her. He looked furious and kicked her once again and she once more spit out blood but this time on his nicely polished shoes. Then the man glared at her.

"You B*tch!!"

He quickly drew his gun and pointed it to Ash who smirked at him literally yelling at him to just try it. Then he cocked it and Ash's smirk grew, as his hands shook in fear.

'Bang'

Mr. Williams fell, blood seeping out of his shoulders and down his chest ruining his expensive suit. Everyone frantically looked around at who shot him but no one knew. While in a panic Ash quickly escaped and quickly took down every man around her. Ash then walked over to Williams gun cocked and pointing down at him. He looked up at her, fear in his eyes begging for mercy. Ash then smiled.

'Bang'

Mister Williams then breathed his final breath and fell over blood flowing out of the hole in his forehead and onto the concrete flooring of the warehouse.
