Chapter 25

The two headed to the apartment not to long after that and took showera then went to bed. In reality the two were awake reminiscing over everything that took place that day. All the emotions that had been presented. The next morning, before any of team twenty one had the chance to catch up with them, the two headed to the farmers market to shop. Ash walked by the stands her hand against her chin as she scrutinised two lemons. She held one in each hand seemed to be weighing it by lifting up one arm then lowering and so forth. Sakura wayched intensly confused at what she was doing and wanting to find out. Then Ash smiled and triumphantly held up the lemon in her right hand. She then swiftly turned to the, startled, lady behind the stand and held out the lemon.
"I would like this one, thank you."
The woman still a little scared took the lemon with a shaky hand and put it in a bag then grabbed the change that Ash held and the two walked to the next stand and thd process continued.
When the two arrived at the apartment none of team twenty one was their, thankfully, but a note telling the two to rest up. They then proceeded to make dinner and watch Rush Hour.
The next morning the two packed up for a job and headed out to a large mansion. It took around a hour drive filled with singing along to the radio naps and snacks. Before they arrived Ash stoppes at a gas station and came out dressed quite nicely. She, had done her make up, and wore a sparkly long tight silver side cut dress, her hair was slicked back and brushed so it fell nicely down her back and she held a pair of matching silver high heels in her hands. Salura was about to ask when Ash shooshed her and told her that she would find out soon. They then finished their drive and Ash pit on the shoes and the two exited to car and were greeted by a butler. The man first looked at Sakura who seemed out of place wearing jeans and a Navy blue shirt, comparwd to Ash in her dress for the Oscars and the man ready for a grand ball. He then took a look at Ash and smiled then opened to door widely for them to step in.
"You must be Ashley Willson. Its a plaesure to meet you. Master Weber will be down in a minute to greet you. Sonhwlp yourself to some tea and cookies."
He then bowed and Ash waved him off then sat smoothed out the bottom of her skirt and sat admkring to foyer. It was quite elegant in their marble walls and pillars grand cedar doors with brass knobs a large stair case that spread out on two ways and luxurious red vevelt cushions. Sakura seems out of place.
"Why am I here?"
As loomed to Sakura.
"Because you need to see this."
"See what?"
Sakura was losing her patience and seems to completely lose it when Ash smirked.
"Because I'm not dressed too extravagantly, well not compared to the others that will be here tonight and to Sir Williams tastes so I need you here for comparison."
Sakura nodded. It as an absurd and to be honest, rude, plan but a good one to say the least. Well, as long as it doesn't fail she thought.
"Ah! Miss Wilson! Good to finally meet you!"
Right then a man began to walk down the stairs arms wide and looking glad. He too as in a nice suit but a blue one with a blue tie. Ash rose and Sakura followed suit.
"Ah! No need to stand sit down sit down have some tea!"
Ash smiled what most would assume was a genuine polite smile but Salir a could tell that she scheming up a plan. She sat and the two began to talk.
"So when will I be performing?"
"Tonigh tonight, after a beautiful foriegn dance preformed by Lin a stunning woman!"
Ash smiled then set down her tea.
"Of course so I will be the second act?"
"No No No you will the last the fifth to be exact and around twelve thirty!"
Ash gave a quick smirk which she quickly replaced with a smile.
"Wonderful, I will have time to prepare."
"Of Course, we give the most time for the best acts."
Sakura cringed, sweet talk.
"So I will leave you in Jeriah's care for the meantime. He will show you around. Jeriah!"
A young man came running out wearing a suit with no jacket with slicked back blonde hair and green eyes. He bowed to the two and Ash caught a slight blush on his cheeks when he lookes at Sakura. Hmm.. This is going to be interesting.
The young man, Jeriah, led them around the estate showing them every crook and cranny in this large closer to be castle. He chatted and chatted the whole time, about his life their, the estate, and how great of a man Mister Weber is. Ash soon began to notice how he early addressed her in his conversations but always Sakura. She then got and idea.
"I have to go to the bathroom."
The young man then turned to her and pointed the way to the bathroom and she quickly scurried away leaving the two alone.
"So are you her freind?"
"Yes, she is, she is also a colleague."
Sakura smiled and the boy's face shaded. He then turned around divering Sakura attention away from him and to the painting that sat on the wall and began telling her of its history.
Ash watched from the bathroom snickering to herself. Kids could be so dense.... Wait. She was younger then both of them. Ugh... How come she was always the adult, despite being young. Well whatever. She then left the bathroom and they all walked off again. He soon lead them to their room telling them that he just around to corner if they needed sonthing and the schedule for tonight. They both settled inot the room and began discussing what would happen that night.
"He's a cute kid."
"Yeah he seed really nice."
Ash nodded.
"He was hot wasnt he?"
Sakura blushed.
"W-w-well a bit yeah I guess."
Ash smirked.
"You two could make some cute blonde babies."
At tis Sakura' s face blew up and Ash was blinded for a few minutes, before she was attacked by a angry Pomeranian. Before the party started Ash surprised Sakura with a dark blue short sleeved knee length dress. The two then headed down stairs where they are dinner and watched the acts. Around the fourth act the two got up and headed to the back where Ash discussed plans with the stage boy and prepared to go on. Sakura was dismissed from the back stage so she sat at her table to enjoy the show. What was going to do anyway?
When Ash entered the stage everyone quieted down seeing as an Angel had just steeped forth. She looked stunning the dress shined in the spot light and her face that was already stunning was higkoghted by the make up and shone. Sakura listenes to everyones whispers about the beauty on stage and so forth. Sakura felt proud for some reason. The music slowly began to play and Sakura was excited to finally here her sing. The melody of Whiteny Houston's Saving all my Love for you began to play through and more whispers of excitement began to ignite. Then it all quieted as their suspicions of an angke being their were co firmed. Sakura was shocked she had never heard anything so beautiful. Joe had told her that this was the song that she sang the first night she sang at the diner. The song she sang for Ali, the one she loved, for the one who gave her her voice. She looked down when she felt something hit her leg to see a water droplet snd she quickly touched her cheek to feel the tear that have yet to fall.
It was beautiful.
