barista! yuta was going to have a normal day at work today.

or so he thinks.

each day is nagging from sicheng, his best friend, to do more work, stop slacking and bring more customers in. then, he goes to school until 5, which he then works the night shift until 8, and then he goes home, does homework and then goes to sleep.

he is a very productive person.

"sicheng, can you handle customers today, I really can't right no—"

sicheng is also yuta's boss. and yuta should not be ordering him around. it should be uno reverse card.

"yuta, if i have to tell you one more goddamn time that you are supposed to be handling the customers i will—" and that's when yuta shut up and went to work.

he was cleaning tables and re-organizing the cash register when you decided to walk in to the store.

your hair was messy and wavy and yet, you looked so good? yuta was shocked to see such an angel enter the coffee shop, after all not many pretty people walk into the store.

"hi, um, could i get a cup of coffee please, with some whipped cream please." and you asked in such a small voice that yuta found it so adorable!!!! he squealed!!!!

of course you being the introvert you are, you felt like he was making fun of you :((( that is until he said—

"your voice is adorable by the way." as he clears his throat and blushes SUCH A DEEP SHADE OF RED. (yall really expect my man to be a confident dude well, not with the ladies let me tell ya that.)

"so your total will be $3.49 and would you like a stamp card too? get 2 more you get the 4th one free!" he adds and smiles his signature smile. and ofc, your heart went boom boom (nct dream pun intended lolz)

"ok.. i guess." you smile back at him, take the stamp card and then go to sit down and wait for your drink. you thought about how he called your voice cute.

'well nobody has ever said it was cute before' before you start blushing like a maniac too!!!

meanwhile—

when you go to sit down yuta goes, correction:runs, to the kitchen and tells sicheng the TEA!!!!

"SICHENGIEE" yuta says as soon as he speeds into the kitchen. and sicheng rolls his eyes.

"what is it? and it better be good i have to make our customer's drink you h*e." sicheng said as he washes his hands, and as he does that yuta jumps onto the island table, sighing.

"i, yuta nakamoto, am officially not going to be single anymore. i, yuta nakamoto, have found the person of my DREAMS" and as he says that, sicheng could care less.

"yuta i could care less. hurry and bring the poor person their cup of coffee." ofc, yuta doesn't hear him and keeps talking about how he has found the one, and even tries to start singing some disney song.

"yuta, shut your damn mouth and bring the customer their coffee its getting cold!" sicheng says in a very stern voice and yuta nods and gulps.

ofc yuta gets scared of sicheng, because usually sichengie is a cute little ball of love. he never yells, yet he's grumpy today :(((
