- the start of basketball season

"LET'S GO!!! HUSTLE IT UP!!" jaehyun yells at his teammates.

with zhong chenle sweating profusely, he keeps up with the rest of his team. after all, he is the school basketball ace.

as a freshman, he had already made varsity on the basketball team, and now in his 3rd year of high school, he is one of the star players on the court.

of course, you didn't care though, you hated basketball... and the team.

why? because you got hit in the head with a basketball and none of them helped you 👎 ! they all just laughed and your poor friends had to help you all by themselves, while flipping the team off ofc.

a lot of curse words were thrown around that day, and you still give the team stink-eyes everytime you see them.

to you, the basketball was just another group of crappy kids at your school and you treated them no different than how you treated everyone else. after all, why should they deserve special treatment? because they made a school team? boohoo, you'll treat them with respect when they make the NBA.

you sat in the gym with your friends and started talking and the school basketball captain comes up to you guys.

"______! hey! can i ask you and your friends to move outside the gym? we scheduled it for today, since we got a game in 2 days. please?" jaehyun asks as politely as he could.

"yeah of course. after all i do owe you for giving me food at lunch today." you nod and he gratefully gives you thanks and you and your friends leave the gym.

jaehyun was the only member of the team you actually liked, and that was because he was one of the nicest people you had ever met. he wasn't there when the basketball incident happened, so you gave him a pass. 

he also gives you free food at lunch, if you ask him politely. (that way he knows everyone has manners, omg nobody could ever) he's like the older brother you've always wanted. and of course he treats you special, because you're like his little sister.

"thank you so much!!!! i'll give you more food than usual tomorrow!" jaehyun says and you smile widely and give him a big thumbs up.

you leave him with "good luck jaehyun!" and wave goodbye, and then he waves back and yells back "THANK YOU!"

you hated basketball, but not jung jaehyun. after all, he gives you free food.

"OKAY LET'S PICK UP THE PACE!! BOYS!! LET'S GO GO GO!!!"

the day passes by quickly, and just like that, its another day at school.

your first few classes breeze by and its already time for lunch.

as you head to the canteen, you see the basketball team.

they're arguing with your friends because they stole your seat.

"I JUST SAID THAT IS MY FRIEND'S SEAT! GET UP AND MOVE TO SOME OTHER PLACE?" yeojin yells and olivia backs her up.
