Hey guys, Wolf here! Okay, 'Snapdragon' is a 'Boku no Hero Academia' fanfic that is based around a guy called Junsuina Hikari. Hikari is the stereotypical nerd and emo; dark clothes, oversized tops and hoodies, straight A's, 'nerd' glasses,... you get the idea. Hikari's childhood wasn't the best and in the result of that he closed himself off from the world and never out trust in anyone.

Third Person POV

At the age of 4, Hikari finally developed his quirk, Seishi, his entire family was so happy and proud of him, but that happiness turned for the worse in a matter of minutes. He was messing with what his quirked enabled him to do and so far he was able to mend and heal objects and plants around the house, he came to one of his mother's prized flowers, a Snapdragon (snapdragons symbolize graciousness and strength with negative connotations of deception and presumption), just as before his outstretched hand was hovering over the plant and everyone was expecting for the budded plant to bloom like the rest but instead it shrivelled, withered, and died. Hikari didn't know what happened and was confused and upset, worried his mother wouldn't be happy about her favourite plant being dead, so he did what any other toddler would do. He cried. Multiple family members embraced the young child and attempted to console him as he wept, but no one noticed the faint green glow turn to a midnight black until it was too late. Screams echoed in the halls, blood sprayed the walls, limbs and other body parts flung in all directions. It was a massacre.
The young Hikari witnessed his family die in front of him, his own cries amplifying as he welded his eyes shut from the sight. He just wanted it all to end, for him to wake up from this realistic nightmare, but it never happened. A strong wind encircled his small form, glass shattered, wood splintered, the house looked as though a tornado had just ripped through it. The deafening noise could probably be heard from the other side Shibuya.
Then it was silent. Hikari's form slumped over and landed on small splinters of wood and shards of glass, embedding themselves into his pale flesh. He lay there motionless and oblivious to the pain his nerves were sending to his brain, but nothing registered.

Sirens could be heard in the distance, as well as, the shouts of on looking passerby. All sound ceasing 'til there was nothing. All light dimmed 'til there was darkness. Unconsiousness loomed closer 'til it took.

'Rest.....' was the last thing that floated in the boy's mind.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Policemen rushed to the scene as soon as they got an urgent call from a young lady telling them of an explosion of sorts. Arriving at the scene, what they saw was not an explosion as the main structure of the building was intact and without a scratch. To say that they weren't confused would be a total lie. Knowing that none of the officers wanted to deal with this alone, they sent out urgent messages to Pro-Heroes in the area along with a picture of the building in sight.

Minutes later, a small team of Pro-Heroes arrived and assessed the situation with the Police and fenced off the area from the public. There must have been 4 heroes that included, Death Arms, Thirteen, Vlad King, and Ms Joke.

Upon entering the house, the stench of blood made each party members' stomach feel queazy and what they saw next unsettled them all. Blood was all that was visible with body parts floating in the thick liquid. The sight was all but pretty. The heroes looked for the corpses that actually had all body parts and checked for a pulse. They hoped to feel that small thump as the blood would travel through the veins but there was nothing and all was still.

"T..th..they're all d..d..de..dead..." A police officer broke the silence, but no acknowledgement was given.

Vlad King came to the final room and saw a small figure lying face down in a small puddle of blood, skin sickly pale and a mop of black hair covered in spots of dried blood. He rushed over and knelt by the young lad's body and placed 2 fingers over the artery on the neck.

'Please let him be alive.' was a thought that bounced back and forth through Vlad's mind.

'Thump....... Thump......' He recoiled back and rolled the boy over to pick him up and get him out of the scene.

"He's Alive!" Vlad King's voice boomed over the quiet atmosphere and questions were fired back a forth between the crew members.

They all watched as the young boy was rushed to a hospital, and being the only one alive in that building.

That would be a day no one would forget.
