:Chapter Ten:

Kaminari's POV

I was laughing and joking around with my new bestie, Kirishima, as we walked down the hall towards the changing rooms. The rest of the boys were behind us and I have to admit that these guys have got some looks, well except for Mineta. He's just creepy but amusing.
I came to the grey door and twisted the handle, laughing at the joke Kirishima just threw at me I opened the door and stepped in. It didn't feel right. I looked in front of me instead of at Kirishima and what I saw was not a pretty sight. The guy that helped Midoriya earlier and I think he placed 3rd in the tests. I believe his name was Hikari. The name was familiar but I can't really remember too well at the moment. Well, the guy was in one of the toilet stalls, passed out and covered in blood all of it running out of his mouth. I could feel my eyes widen as I turned around and shouted.

"SOMEONE GET SOME HELP!"

It happened all too quickly. I ran towards the small boy with Kirishima just behind me. We used the very little medical knowledge we knew and made sure that he was breathing before sitting him up in a more comfortable position with his head down so he wouldn't choke on the blood. I could see some of the other boys like Sero, Mineta, Sato, and Bakugo just stood at a fair distance with wide eyes at the scene.

"What happened?" A worried teacher came in giving us questions to answer but sadly we couldn't do much but just sit, watch, and listen.
The pro had white hair with a red outfit on. Vlad King was the name he told us. He was a teacher for the other Hero Course class 1B but he was the closest aid we could find as Aizawa was nowhere to be seen, probably in the staff room.

He lifted Hikari effortlessly and carried him to the infirmary, telling us to all get changed and head back to homeroom to inform Aizawa on what happened. We did just that and let's just say that Aizawa might actually care a small amount about us.

Hikari's POV

Everything was sore and my head was pounding. I could make up a beeping sound in the distance and a very muffled chatter. The noises kept getting louder and I could finally hear the conversation that was happening in the outside world.

"This has to be some sort of drawback from his quirk as no damage has been inflicted on him."

"When will he wake up?"

"Soon. Anytime from now and the evening."

"I will go and inform his brother that also comes here so he can take him home tonight."

"Okay principal I will talk to you soon."

I heard a door close and then started to gain feeling over my body once again. Slightly relieved, I wiggled my fingers around to get the blood circulating and gradually opened my eyes. The lights were a little too bright but I squinted to adjust a little quicker.

"Ah, you're awake dear. How are you feeling?" A small elderly woman dressed in a white lab coat with grey-silver hair tied in a bun asked from beside my bed.

"Everything's just a bit sore but I'll be alright," I replied keeping my voice low to not worsen my headache, "Sorry to be an inconvenience. This is just one of the drawbacks of using my quirk too much."

"Yes, we figured as much," She handed me a pair of painkillers and a cup of water. Downing them she then continued, "I want you to stay in here just until those pain meds start to kick in and then you can head back to your homeroom just in time for lunch, okay?"

I nodded and led back down to get a little nap in before I headed off.

I had just been given permission to leave the infirmary and right on time too as the bells for lunch had just gone. I slowly made my way towards the cafeteria. I could feel the panic rise once again with the loud noised coming from the students inside. I forced down the fear and walked in through the doors. Hundreds of people were here from all over the years. I saw some members from my class sat down across a few tables together and then I caught sight of my best friend Aki and my 'brother' Kuroo sat at a table with a few other second years. I gulped and continued to walk in but I was soon stopped by two reasonably tall figures. I looked up and saw two very familiar faces. They were two boys from my class but they were also familiar from the entrance exams. The boy with red hair was the guy that stopped me from killing Taiga and the guy with yellow hair and a black lightning bolt was the guy who helped me save those girls. I have to admit, getting a better look at them they were hot. Damn, why are the guys here so good looking.

"Oh my god! Thank god you're okay, Hikari. When we saw you in the changing rooms we had no idea what was going on." The boy who helped me save the girls spoke.

"Yeah, sorry about that," I sheepishly rubbed the back of my neck with a small smile, "That's what happens when I use my quirk too much. Thank you though. Can I get your names?"

"Your quirk did that!? Wait, yeah. I'm Kirishima and this dork here is Kaminari." The redhead, Kirishima, told me.

"HIKARI!!!"

"Fuck..." I muttered, "You guys might want to go and sit down."
The two boys just nodded and when to sit down with Bakugo and another guy and girl. I didn't really pay too much attention to my classmates as I had to be prepared for a very angry 16-year-old charging at me. A watched as brown blur came at me and wrapped their arms around me, squeezing me to death.

"When Kuroo told me that you were in the infirmary for blood loss I was so worried. Don't you EVER DO THAT AGAIN, MISTER, DO YOU HEAR ME?" The brunette screamed at me.

"Aki, I'm sorry it was my quirk again. I swear it wasn't intentional. It kinda just happened." I tried to reason with her. The girl just sighed and dragged me to the second but more reasonable beast. Kuroo.

"Hikari, sit." He just looked at me with a straight face.

I hurriedly sat down and waited for the shouted words but none came. I heard some shuffling around on the table bench and then felt a pair of arms slip around my torso.

"You idiot." Was all that I got from him as he buried his head into my shoulder. I awkwardly wrapped my arms around his waist and held him like my life depended on it.
