I'd been staring at this thing for hours now. I taunted me as it lay on my desk just a few feet away. I wanted to go over there and open it but I was scared. Scared of the outcome when I looked at the results. The white envelope from U.A was laying there waiting to be opened and read. I took a few deep breaths and then grabbed it, ripped open the top and watched as the small silver and blue metal disk as it clattered to the floor. Upon impact, a large blue All Might appeared on the screen. A hologram.
"THIS IS A PROJECTION!!" The All Might screamed and I just placed myself on the floor with that resting bitch face that I had been told I had. "I'm in this town for one reason only. I've come to teach at U.A. Young Hikari, you passed the written exam with flying colours! Your practical exam, however, is a different story. In the time given you managed to get 5 villain points," I looked down knowing that I wouldn't get into the school I had dreamed about for a while now, "HOWEVER!" My head shot up and I stared intently at the hologram and listened. "THIS EXAM YOU SEE...!! WE WEREN'T JUST WATCHING FOR VILLAIN-BASED POINTS!! TO EVALUATE YOU!! 71 POINTS FOR HIKARI! WELCOME TO THE HERO COURSE OF U.A.!!"
I woke up mid-afternoon the next day as we had stayed up very very late the night before. With some form of wizardry, I had managed to grab an apple from downstairs and make my way back up to my room to read through the other 2 letters that came with the hologram. The first letter was telling me what class I'd be in and when the term would start. The other was about a hero costume and I had immediately grabbed my tablet and digital pen, that I had managed to pay for myself with some that I had eared other the past two summers, and began to draw.
I sent the return letter for my hero costume to the U.A. team and carried on with the rest of the day. Nothing really happened after that I spent the next few weeks training to gain more control and understanding of my quirk. It wasn't until a few days before the start of term that something major occurred. I had been sat out under one of the trees in the park when my mind had wandered to a few animals that I had been wanting to draw. The thoughts stopped on a little black and white fox. Twins, the black one was the calm twin that always thought rationally while the white fox was jumping around and amusing his/herself. I smiled at the thought, letting my head create scenes of them being together and enjoying themselves. A familiar warmth spread throughout my body and I looked over myself, the green hue was there like when I used my quirk and I began to panic thinking that I was going out of control again so I squeezed my eyes shut and waited. I waited and waited but nothing happened. I suddenly felt a slight pressure on my legs and a wet tongue on my chin. 'Wait tongue?!' I opened my eyes and what I saw was a bit of a shock. There they were the two little twin fox cubs that were playing around in my dreamscape were right in front of me.

Since then I named the two foxes Ying and Yang; Ying was the white fox and Yang was the black fox. I kept 'summoning' them as a form of comfort throughout the week but never tried any other animal. The nightmare of my childhood kept resurfacing as the week progressed and the trauma seemed to seep back into my bones and the small flinches and panic attacks came back. The attacks were never too bad but being surrounded by hundreds of strangers when I would go to U.A. terrified me to the core.
"Shit. I'm running late." I mumbled to myself as I rushed out the door a rucksack slung over one shoulder, my tie hung loosely around my neck, and a piece of toast hanging out of my mouth. I hurried down the streets alone as both Aki and Kuroo had both left half-hour ago as I showered and got dressed. I panted as I rounded another corner and then continued going straight. I caught sight of the glass building 200 metres away and slowed down a tad to fix my appearance and breathing.
I wandered the halls as I slowly made my way to class 1A. The panic rose to my chest as I approached the huge door on my right. I visibly gulped as I listened to the chatter just inside the room. I glanced to the clock on the wall just a few paces down the hall and saw that I wasn't late but just 5 minutes before that would be the case. Psyching myself up, I reached for the handle and pushed the door open. I kept my head down as the talk stopped and I could feel the stares as I walked to the back of the room and into a lone seat by the window. At this point, my breathing had quickened and I was almost gasping for breath. I gulped and did the small exercise that Tsukki and I established. Breathe in for four, hold for seven, and breath out for eight. I calmed myself down and waited for the chaos to start.
