(Y/N)'s POV
Oh my God.
"Where the hell did you get the time to edit this together?" I show Jefferson the photo. He laughs as he continues to drive.
"I have my ways," he smirks.
"What is up with all the emojis? What are you, not like other girls?" I laugh. Jefferson scoffs.
"Emojis are a very efficient way to express how you feel," Jefferson explains.
"You're unbelievable," I smile.
"Not as unbelievable as your beauty," Jefferson winks. I blush. His confidence is nauseating.
"Shut up," I shove my face in my phone, avoiding all eye contact.
"You are so precious," Jefferson starts. "It's been a while since I met someone who gets so easily flustered."
"I'm gonna break your nose."
"Okay, okay, I'll stop," Jefferson smiles. So do I.
"Oh, I saw that! I made you smile," Jefferson cheers. I laugh and shake my head.
"You are such an idiot, oh my God." We laugh as the car pulls to a stop.
"Okay, first stop! Let's go!" Jefferson gets out of the car and opens my door for me.
"Thank you, Cassanova," I joke. Jefferson laughs as he grabs my hand. I roll my eyes, but I don't pull my hand away. I don't know why I let him hold my hand. It honestly just kinda, felt right, I guess...
"Hey watch out," Jefferson says, pulling me close to his chest. I look back and see that I almost walked into a telephone pole.
"Oh man, how did I not see that?" I mutter to myself. I feel Jefferson's arms snake around my waist. He pulls me closer.
"Well, an angel like you must always have her head in the clouds," Jefferson smirks that mischievous grin of his. His hands move to my hips as he pulls me in closer. His right-hand lifts my chin. Our eyes meet. His dark, shimmering, brown eyes pierce right through me. I have to give it to him, he's very beautiful.
"I have to give it to you, my dear. You are even more astounding up close." Jefferson whispers in my ear. Shivers travel down my spine as I feel his breath on my skin. He looks at me again and grins. Hmm, his grin seems to be getting closer... Oh man, that's my cue to get the hell out of here.
"Alright, that's enough of that," I say, moving out of Jefferson's grasp. I forgot to mention that my face is burning red. I hear Jefferson laugh as he puts his arm around my shoulders.
"You are beyond adorable, your face is so red," Jefferson says. He leans in and places a kiss on my cheek. "Oh, and warm too." I gasp and playfully smack his arm. Jefferson laughs as he grasps my hand once more. I look around and notice that we've been walking around the city for a while.
"Where are we going anyway?" I ask. Jefferson lets go of my hand and covers my eyes.
"I thought we'd head somewhere more relaxed." Jefferson leads me forward a bit. After a few steps, he uncovers my eyes. I look up to see that we're standing at the entrance to a park. Birds are singing and soaring through the air as flowers and trees sway with the light breeze. I feel like I'm in some Disney princess movie.
"The park is beautiful, is it not?" Jefferson says as he grabs one of my hands and kisses it. "Of course, it's no match to your pure magnificence." I laugh and ruffle his hair.
"You know, you're not too bad looking yourself." I watch as his face lights up. A big smile makes its way onto his face as he hugs me. I wasn't ready for him to then pick me up and spin me around. He puts me down and we laugh.
"That means a lot coming for someone as lovely as you." We both smile as he reaches for my hand. I was about to move away, but I thought I'd humor him a bit. I see his smile in the corner of my eye as we walk around, hand in hand. We walked around the lake a few times. At one point, a goose with a little red ribbon on crossed our path, holding a knife. We thought it best to not mess with him.
We continued around the park when I noticed a patch of dandelions. I picked two of the fluffy flower and handed one to Jefferson.
"Make a wish," I said. Jefferson smiled
"But I have everything I could ever want right here." Jefferson squeezed my hand as I blushed.
"Just shut up and make a wish!" I laughed. Jefferson brought the dandelion to his face and blew. The little seeds fluttered around in the wind. I blew mine out as well. I didn't quite have a wish in mind, I just like watching the seeds fall.
"What'd you wish for?" I asked. Jefferson put his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him than before.
"I wished for this lovely day to never end." He whispered with a smile. Shyly, I smiled back.
Of course, everyone knows that when you say a wish out loud, it won't come true.
"JEFFERSON!" A voice yelled from across the park. "GET YOUR FILTHY HANDS OF MY SISTER!"
