The Outsiders Imagines/Preferences

So I'm sorry this isn't an update, I will update soon though. Number 1 I have no idea what to write about and no requests so far! I'm sort of unmotivated and no one is really reading this book, so if you are plz say hey and tell me what you think!!! and number 2 I've been looking around at other outsider books and seeing that most of the authors are not as interested in the outsiders anymore. They stop their books and just move on to bigger pastures. I do think that it's best not to write about things your not interested in and you shouldn't force yourself to do something you don't want to do for no reason. But I'd just like to say that I am more than interested in the outsiders, I am in love with it!! to be a fan means that you are loyal to that thing, and you don't just drop it like that!! Recently my sister's friend went to Tulsa to see the Curtis house museum and she met Thomas Howell (aka Ponyboy Curtis) and I was crazy happy for her, but at the same time I was a little bit jealous. I was sad that that wasn't me. She achieved my dream and I was/am scared that my dream of going there and meeting the outsiders will never come true. But after thinking about it, I now know that I have these stupid, meaningless, but amazing stories to keep me going!! I read once that the reason we write these fanfics is because a small part of us is sad that there is only one book, that we know there is no one as amazing as any of the greasers, that the only people close to as amazing as them is the actors and they are as old as our parents. so the reason we write these stories is because we want to keep the love alive and that if one day we achieve our dreams of going to Tulsa and never wanting to leave, we can leave because we know we have fan fiction to take us too 1964 Tulsa and to our dreams!! I know this was a long authors note but I needed to say that!! If absolutely anyone agrees with me, was touched by this, or even read this, it would make my heart sour if you commented and told me what you think!
