I couldnt be happier

Soda will be so surprised and happy! I thought to myself as I walked to surprise my boyfriend Sodapop Curtis.
"Hey Stevie!" I said cheerfully. Steve was working under a car in the DX garage when I walked up.
" Katie?!? Hey what's up kid? " he said running up to me and giving me a bear hug. Steve was very excited to see me because it was the middle of the summer and I was supposed to be at my grandmothers house in Kansas. I wasn't supposed to come home for another month and a half, or so.
"I came to surprise Sodapop. My grandma had an emergency with her quilting convention so she drove me back early." I was as excited as Steve, which I didn't think was possible.
"He was just complaining that he missed you this morning! He'll be so happy!"
" thanks bud!! " I wanted to go find Soda.
I brought lunch for us, and I know he works at a half grocery store and he could just buy us a lunch, but I didn't want to show up empty handed. Plus I am the world best PB&J maker!!!
"Freeze partner!!" We loved playing cowboy in the lot and running around like children!
" you'll never catch me without a fight!! " Soda seemed to know what I was doing.
"Katiebear!?!?" soda ran to me and engulfed me in a swinging hug.
"What are you doing in Tulsa, I thought you didn't come back till the end of the summer?" He was excited but confused.
"We had a change of plans!" I couldn't resist giggling a little as I said this.... He flashed me one of his killer (litterally) smiles. All I could think about in that moment was how I loved Sodapop Curtis with all of my heart and wanted to spend the rest of my life with him!
"What's in the bag??" Soda broke me from my thoughts when he saw the bag of lunch I had. He could detect food from a mile away!
" I have lunch! Here, I'll set up a picnic in the lot while you close up shop. You can bring Steve if you want to. "
Soda loved spending time with Steve and I knew that Steve loved food, so I thought it only polite to invite him. I really just wanted to be with Sodapop, but I would hate it for Steve to be alone.
"You just got home! I want to have you all to myself! Plus he can just swing by my house and eat all our cake with will make Darry mad. You know how Steve doesn't take no crap from nobody so they can spend the afternoon arguing and eating... They'll be fine!"
I laughed at Soda's statement and how accurate it all was.
"I'll meet you at the lot in fifteen minutes!" I said wanting to eat and go out with Soda.
" I love you! And I couldn't be happier that your home! "
"I love you too carbonated water!!!" He hates that name, but it's in a fun way!
" I can't handle it when my baby is gone! " he seemed sad just then!
"Well i get sad too but Im back now so it's ok. See ya at the lot."

Later we finished up lunch and say under the stars joking around and telling about our summers.
But out of no ware, he said...
"when we get older and stuff, will you still be my girlfriend?" I was so shocked I could only say,
"Hum??"
" like when Pony is out of high school? "
"without a doubt!!" I was confused at where this conversation was going.
"Then marry me!" He seemed so sure and in the moment.
He handed me a toy ring and told me to put it on if I loved him.
I did and we sat cuddling.
"I couldn't be happier!" we both said in unison.

A/N
I know this is kinda trash and cliche but I wasn't sure how to finish it. No one seems to be commenting and I NEED ideas for imagines. If you have a recommendation, just comment in any imagine what you want me to do. I will take any and maybe all suggestions.
