Let's do this!! (Darry Curtis)

You and your boyfriend Darry were sitting on his couch thinking about the awesome summer you just had together. Darry's brothers had gone to bed because it was pretty late, Two-bit and Steve had gone home after dinner, and Johnny was with Dally at one of Buck's famous parties. You were talking about the beach trip you and the gang took, the bond fire you guys had to celebrate Ponyboy's first track meet, which he came first in. You even talked about how Dally was able to keep the same chick for a whole summer and how everyone thinks they are PERFECT for eachother!!
But as you laughed about the fun you had you were still sad that tomorrow was the last day!! You had to go back to school and that meant being away from Darry most days.
"Hey Darbear??" You teased.
" yes sugarplum? " he sarcastically shot back.
How about we do something super fun tomorrow as a last day of summer celebration? Just you and me?? "
Although you love the gang, you wanted to spend time with Darry while you still had the chance.
"That sounds fun! What do you wanna do?"
" Well..... I had this one idea" you said this with kind of a smerk which made Darry a little skeptical and worried about what he had just gotten into! "

*fast forward to later the next day*

You couldn't believe your eyes!!! You and Darry were at the nail salon getting pedicures TOGETHER! It was tough convincing Darry to paint his toenails but you finally did after you said the pool had closed for the summer so no one would see them. And you didn't care if anyone did or not but you loved it because it showed that Darry loves you enough to put his entire reputation on the line for you!!
"Ok we're done sir." The lady doing his nails said, but she hadn't put the polish on yet!!
"Wait she didn't do it!!" Darry said. You thought he would be pretty happy about it but he seemed to want to do this for you. You just thought the whole day was hilarious!!
"Oh just go over to her and ask her to pain them." You were getting your toes done so you couldn't get up, but you would have if you could have.
"Uhhhhhhh!! Ok! Let's do this!!"
Darry put on his game face, rolled up his selves and marched over to the little nail lady and asked for her to paint his nails!
About one minute later he followed the lady back to his chair and as she was painting you started to laugh a little. It made him laugh to, but that was the first and really only day you had ever heard him giggle!! 😂
It really was the best summer the both of you had ever had! And the gang never knew!
