I get home and the first thing I see is my parents standing right in front of me.
"Hi honey! How was your first school day?" my mom says.
"Yeah. Did someone bother you? I swear to God that I will kill anyone who does anything to my little princess" my dad says in a very concerned but confident tone.
"Dad! Please! Relax, nothing happened. But I actually made a new friend! Her name is Emily!" I say to calm them down.
"How great honey! I made some food. It's in the kitchen if you're hungry." My mom says.
"Actually, I was thinking about going out to see the city. I want to see how things have changed."
"Of course, honey! But please don't be out too long! You have school tomorrow remember." My dad says.
"Okay Dad, see you later!"
Before I go out, I call Emily to see if she wants to come with me.
"Hey Aileen, what's up?"
"Nothing much. Just wanted to see if you're up to something"
"Actually me, my twin brother and a couple of friends is hanging out at Sidney's Bar. You should join!"
"Are you sure that the others won't have a problem with me coming?"
"Of course, they won't have a problem!"
"Well I guess I'm coming then. I'll be there in 10."
"Great! See you!"
Sydney's isn't that far away from me. I guess I better get going.
I have arrived at Sydney's now.
I see Emily in the corner with 3 others. 1 other girl and 2 boys. As I walk over to her I become more and more nervous. Please don't say anything awkward Aileen!
"Oh, hey Aileen! This is Aileen everybody. She's new at SCC" Emily introduces me to everyone.
"Hi Aileen! I'm Amelia Williams. Nice to meet you!"
"Nice to meet you too, Amelia!"
"Hello pretty lady. I'm James Malik!"
Pretty lady?
"Oh. H-hello. Nice to meet you James"
"Well that leaves me the last one. I'm Jake Hamilton. Sadly, my boyfriend couldn't make it"
"Nice to meet you Jake! It's fine I guess I'll meet him another time."
I smile at them, and they smile back. They seem nice. But wait a minute. Didn't Emily say that her twin brother would be here?
"Hey Emily? Didn't you say that your twin brother would be here?"
"Oh yeah. I forgot to tell you that he is at the bathroom. He can be here in any minute"
Hmm... I wonder how he looks.
Suddenly I hear a male voice behind me.
"I'm back people! Have you missed me?"
Oh God please don't...
I turn around and face him. It's Liam. Why didn't I see it coming? Him and Emily looks exactly alike. Except that she has blond hair and he has black hair.
"Well, well, well. We just keep running into each other don't we? Or maybe it wasn't a coincidence?" he says with his divine smirked face.
"You wish pretty boy"
"Oh, so you think I'm pretty, huh?"
"I.. uh... I did not..."
"Okaaayyyy... I was about to introduce you two, but it seems like you've already done all the work" Emily says with a confused look on her face.
"Yeah we kind of have classes together" I say, trying to escape from this situation.
"Yeah okay, cool" she said.
"Let's order some food!" it comes from Amelia.
"Heck yeah! I'm about to get hangry!" Emily says.
Me and the others laugh.
"When are you not hangry sis?" Liam says.
"Is that supposed to come from you? The guy that always eat weird food"
Her comeback was funny. I can't help it but laugh.
"Oh, so you think that is funny?" Liam says.
I laugh again.
"Well come on now, let's eat!" Jake says.
I don't really know what to order, but the others begged me to order the hot wings. So, I did that.
"The food is here guys!" James says.
We eat. Wow. This is probably the best hot wings I've ever tasted.
