Chapter 5/Let's play a game

After we have eaten up all the food, we decided to go to a coffee bar, so that they could get to know me better.

We arrive to the bar and find a place to sit. I order my usual. An iced coffee with caramel and mocha syrup.

After we get our coffees, we just sit down and begin to talk.

"Okay so I have an idea! We should play a game!" Emily says.

"What kind of game?" I say.

"Okay so everybody gets to ask Aileen two questions. A normal one and a juicy one. That way we learn a lot about her"

"I'm in" Liam says.

"Yeah us too" Amelia says.

"Sure, why not?" Jake says.

"I want to start" Emily says.

"Okay so, how old are you? And when is your birthday?"

"I'm 20 years old and my birthday is on October 31st"

"Cool, that's like really soon!  Annddd on Halloween! Okay on to my juicy one... Are you a virgin?"

Unfortunately, I'm not...

"I uhm... n-no I'm not"

"Cool, my turn" Amelia says.

"Where did you move from?"

"I actually used to live here until I became 18. Then I moved to Toronto with... uhm.. nobody"

"Nooo, tell us" Jake says.

"Yeah that would be my juicy question" Amelia says.

"Fine. I moved to Toronto with my ex. We lived there for 2 years. But I broke up with him, and now I'm back in Seattle"

"Aww, I hope that you're okay" Emily says concerned about me.

"Yeah I guess I'm fine. Oh well, Jake's turn!"

"Okay so, what are your parents' names?" Jake asks.

"Sophia and Chase"

"Sweet. And... are you rich? Sorry but your GUCCI dress just made me ask"

"It's fine, really. And yeah my parents are rich"

"How cool. My turn!" comes from James.

"What do your parents work as?"

"My parents own a big design firm. The Smiths A/S."

"Are you kidding? Wow. That is really impressing." Emily says with a surprised face.

"Thank you!" I say with a little smile.

"Okay, to my last question... what are your bra size?"

Okaaayyyy I did not see that one coming.

"Not cool James!" Liam says with what looks like a serious face.

"Uhm... it's fine... I-I uh.. use a 34D..." I say with a shy voice.

Suddenly I see James' eyes become bigger and Liam begins to cough. I really don't need all of that attention... I really hate attention.

"I guess it leaves me the last one to ask" Liam says.

"Okay soo, what are your plans after college?" he asks me.

"I plan to take over my parents' business" I answer proudly.

"Cool! And the juicy one... hmm.. okay I got it! When was the last time you got really wasted, and what happened?"

I haven't had alcohol since the day I broke up with Andrew... I got really wasted and did something very stupid... then decided not to drink anymore.

"Actually, I don't drink anymore, the last time I got wasted I did something that I really regret now"

"That's good for you!" James says.

I don't know what it is but there is something about James that just bothers me. Hmm.. maybe it's just something I'm imagining.

"I'm really sorry guys but I have to go now, if I want to get the bus" I say.

"No way, it's pouring outside! Let Liam drive you" Emily says.

Me, getting into a car with Liam only?

"Yeah I can drive you home" Liam says with a sweet tone.

I'm not really sure about this... but I guess that one car ride won't change anything. Right?

"Yeah okay, if you're sure"

I say bye to the rest of the guys, and me and Liam gets into his car. Wow. It's a really clean and beautiful Mustang. He must love cars!

"Nice car" I say to start up a conversation.

"Thanks, I really love it" he says.

I give him a friendly smile, and he smiles back.

We don't really speak the rest of the ride. But my house isn't that far away from Sidney's for that sake.

"This is it. I live there" I say.

"Oh, and thanks for the ride. You really didn't have to"

"Yeah I know, but I wanted to" he says, looking at me with a big smile.

I smile at him.

"Night Liam"

"Goodnight Aileen"
