I can’t understand. I just can’t. What is he doing here? What is he even?

When he told me that I was not human, I was hurt. I don’t know why but I was. Why is that?

When Nikki stepped forward, I stopped thinking about it and watch what she was going to do. That’s when I understood that she found something wrong in the picture so did I.

One, my brother and I don’t argue. Two, he boast off and is arrogant but he only jokes about it on me not brag. Three, my brother does not have fangs that can cut through human flesh.

“A rogue?” I looked at both of them for answers, no one seem to notice I asked a question.

Oh, Lenka Kagamine. You are such a beautiful naïve girl. What a freak show they will see you upon your future.” Oh…Ugly face just predicted my future? How funny.

“You are going to be deprived of your future once we’re done here.” Kano told him and in a fast blur, he attacked but failed to put any lash on him as the rogue attacked and gave him a bad lash at the arm.

It looked painful but Kano didn’t show anything about it on his face, it was as if it was nothing but an ant bite.

 I looked at Nikki but she attacked with her bare hands to help Kano but only sent the rogue flying a few feet away and stood back up on his ground.

She tried using what seems another magical ability to tie him using an invisible rope but the guy was too strong and tossed her to a tree, knocking her unconscious.

I ran to her, only to be blocked by this stupid ugly face but Kano shoved him away from me like he was a member of the football team. Believe me, he isn’t. He sucks at it.

I ran to Nikki’s aid only to find her bleeding.

“Oh, no no no…” I was panicking but she healed fast. I forgot. She’s a vampire. She’s not like a puny human like me.

I helped her sit up and rest and watched her bruises disappear. “You okay?” I asked. I was pretty stupid considering that she doesn’t look good.

“Yeah, only I used up all my reserved magic. Help, Kano, please?” She asked and fell unconscious with a silver dagger at her hand. She used her last bit of strength to give me a weapon. I was touched but I had no time to give her the drama effect and helped Kano off the bat by intercepting the talons of the ugly face and gave him a judo flip.

“Why did I not think of doing that?” He asked and helped me hold the guy down.

“I don’t know. Not in your brain capacity?” I joked and he just rolled his eyes on me and grinned.

“I can’t fail La Reyna. I shouldn’t. I should defeat you.”  He scowled at me and bared his ugly teeth at me like he ate a bad bundle of broccoli and it all got stuck in his teeth with the decaying smell of rats and onions. Eww.

But, I was baffled on who’s this La Reyna he was talking about and before I could ask, he threw us off like we were a bunch of pillows and knocked us both off balance and made us sit down on the hard pavement.

He attacked me but Kano threw himself like a shield. That was heroic, stupid and shocking at the same time but I did not waste any second and grabbed the rogue’s arm and yanked him beside me and cut his arm like it was wet clay. His scream is much worse that a dying pig.
