jonah had just got done talking with jack, realizing the boy was in such a hurry.

jonah didn't understand why jack was in such a hurry to get to 'lunch' because he always ate with corbyn, eben, and himself. but the older put it aside him.

he continued walking to lunch and he couldn't help but think about what he said to the boy about liking zach.

corbyn and him were joking but, jonah now noticed how he stuttered- which could mean almost anything.

the brunette was so deep into his thoughts, he wasn't paying much attention; ending up in him bumping into a girl. jonah then turned around, putting his attention on the girl.

jonah assumed the girl was new, having never seen her before. though, as jonah got a better look at her, his thoughts led to him thinking how gorgeous she was.

the girl had dark brown roots, with a blonde bleach near the tips of her hair. her eyes were a shiny dark chocolate color and she had a slim face.

"oh, i'm sorry. i wasn't paying attention, are you ok?" jonah asked putting his hand on her shoulder softly.

the shorter girl blushed but contimued to say "yes, i'm fine. and it's ok." she said with a smile, starting to walk away when jonah spoke up again.

"i never caught your name, by the way." he added, causing a giggle to leave her mouth.

"my name's tatum dahl, but you can call me tate." she smiled softly.

"oh, your name is almost as beautiful as you." the tall brunette flirted with a wink.

"but, my name is jonah- jonah marais." he smiled at the girl. "i'll catch you later." he said leaving her blushing. jonah then waved, walking off to his lunch.

jack got to the tree quickly, breathing heavily after his small sprint. he saw zach, waving to the younger boy. zach waved back as a smile appeared on his face.

jack then walked over to him, taking a seat next to him at the tree. "so, does chipotle sound good?" jack asked, knowing the answer.

"yes!" the younger practically screamed at jack with a smile on his face. the two stood up from leaning on the tree and started their walk to chipotle.

the boys got to chiplote, zach finding the two seats while jack ordered for themselves. jack knew his order by heart.

once jack got there food, he walked over to sit with zach and talk while they ate their food.

"so, basketball tryouts are soon. i'm really excited, i hope to make the team. basketball means alot to me." jack said with a small smile, taking a bite of his food.

"well I hope you make the team too, but i'm pretty sure you will." zach shrugged. "you're like the best basketball player i know, i'll even watch you at tryouts for support." zach finishes smiling, jack smiling back.

eventually, the two finished eating and headed outside of the restuarant. zach then checked the time, noticing they missed all of 5th period.

jack hadn't minded, though realizing zach minded as he started to freak out.

"omg, it's the first day of school and were skipping, this is going to go in my record, this is not good, thi-" zach started to ramble, though being cut off by jack hugging him.

jack knew what could happen. zach had a tendency to freak out a lot and that could result in a panic attack if he doesn't calm down.

being comforted by jack, zach then started to calm himself. he immediately relaxed as jack let go.
