Shiro's POV

It had been a couple of hours since Lance left with Y/N, he said he would drop her off then come back fast as he could. I kept thinking that he would return sooner than later but it had already been 2 hours, I kept pacing in the lounge room (instead of livingroom).

Allura told me that he would be fine but I my fatherly instincts were going off.

Your POV

I walk down the hall where my dorm is getting nervous about what she wanted to talk to me about, I held the necklace Hemchuf gave me when I left his planet.

As I stood in front of my dorms door, I open the door to see my mom sitting on the side of my bed worried. "Oh Y/N I was so worried about you," my mom said giving me a tight hug.

I missed her warm hugs she gave me when I was upset, I felt relied to be in my mothers arms again. "I missed you so much" she said loosening the hug. "I missed you too" I said.

"So what did you want to talk to me about" I asked her. She looked at me worried and sat me on my bed. "Y/N it's about your future" she said as her smile faded away. This was going to be a very serious talk, we always have these talks all the time even when I go training.

"Since you are almost about to be 17 and tomorrow is the day you choose your Groom" She said, the last three parts kept echoing in my head. On every seventeenth birthday of a girl is when they are able to get married, and for the boys get married when they are also 17.

It has been a tradition that the Blade has, "B-but mom I don't want to get married," I told her. One reason why you didn't want to get married was because after you get married, the job for the Female Blades gets the food from gardens and do all sorts of chores while the men fight in the war.

"It's tradition and I don't make the rules" she said, then that's when it hits me. About my birth father and how he didn't really marry my mother, "Wait then what about dad and my brother" I said.

She was shook when I mention both of them, "Who told you that" She asked confused. I rubbed my arm.

"I had a dream I saw dad and he told me I had a brother who is also on earth, is that true" I asked. She looked away from my gaze avoiding my eye contact. "Listen Y/N I had to keep the truth from you so that you wouldn't go off into the Galaxy to find them" She said softly, she was hurt.

Hurt from keeping the truth from me all these years, from me leaving her alone, from me getting hurt. She wanted what was best for me, and she did what was right.

Some tears escaped my eyes as my mother hugged me, I never meant to hurt her in any way. "Y/N," my mom said before pausing.  She stated into my E/C eyes, and I stared into her dark purple ones.

"I want you to live your future the way you want it" she said placing her hands on my shoulders. She gave me a small smile and embraced me.

"Mom," I said getting her attention.

"I want to fight along with voltron" I say. She gave me the okay look and gave me a kiss on my cheek. "I'll miss you" she said.

"I'll miss you more" I said.

Lance POV

As I was led by Y/N friends to some sort of mini market in a downtown, there were food booths, sword booths, drinking booths, and I think some hygiene booth.

I walked over to the hygiene booth and saw what looked like face-cream, "Hey do you know how much this is" I asked the dude. He turned around but man he had a very long thick Braid that hung from the back of his head. He almost looked like Kolivan but looked hippy. "That'll be 14 GAC" he said, his voice was very deep and intimidating.
