MoonWave POV
I was sent on a mission to investigate a strange Energon signal that Soundwave found. He was not sure if it was an Energon mine or a Predacon bone. So, it was classified as an unidentified signal.
'Why Me?'
Well, I needed to clear my mind after what happened yesterday. Also, I wanted to stay as far away as possible from Megatron.
Finally, after flying for a short period of time, I made it to the Energon signal. I transformed into my Bi-pedal mode and landed in front of a cave entrance. The signal was coming from the inside of the cave.
I immediately, made my way inside the cave to investigate it.
'Hopefully, no Autobot will come and I won't have to fight' I thought.
I kept walking deeper and deeper inside the enormous cave, but it looks like I could find anything.
Just then, I sensed someone else inside the cave. I stopped and looked around. My audio receptors heard footsteps getting closer and closer to where I was standing. I quickly hid behind a rock. By the sound, I could tell it was only one person.
"Damn it! I can't believe I was sent alone on this mission to investigate this strange signal" I heard the person said.
'Wait a minute. I know that voice' I thought.
I peeked and I was correct.
The person that entered the cave just some minutes ago was none other than Wheeljack.
"Seems like I wasn't the only one out on a mission alone" I said, walking behind the rock and scaring the poor Wrecker.
"Wow, MoonWave! You scared me" Wheeljack said.
"Sorry" I replied, chuckling.
"Nah... It's okay" he replied.
"So, what are you doing here?" I asked.
"I came to investigate a strange Energon signal" Wheeljack replied.
"What about you?" he asked.
"What consciences. I'm also investigating the same Energon signal as you. Soundwave believes it might be a Predacon bone but it could also be an Energon mine" I explained.
"So... Do we fight for it?" he asked.
"Nah... let me help you. I will just lie and say that the Energon signal was nothing" I replied.
"Are you sure?" he asked.
"Yeah" I replied.
"Okay" he said.

I don't know how long we have been here, but we still haven't found anything.
I'm gonna be honest with you. I'm so tired.
"Do you want to rest?" he asked.
"Yeah" I said, sitting down on a nearby rock.
"Mmm... What happened to your thigh?" he asked.
"Huh?" I asked. I looked down at my thigh where three claw marks were at.
"Well... " I began.
~FLASHBACK~
"MoonWave" I heard my name being called. I turned around and was met with Megatron's blood red optics.
"Yes, Lord Megatron?" I asked.
"Soundwave found an unknown Energon signal. He's not sure if it's an Energon mine or a Predacon bone. I want you to go and investigate" he ordered.
